Cant connect to user games in connected franchise

For the last week when my friend and i try to play a user game in connected franchise it always says the EA servers are not available & to try again later... wth is anyone else having this issue? We even tryed starting a new franchise and the same thing! As soon as we get to a user game its a no go! Please help as this is the ONLY mode we like to play. Thanks

i was having the same problem after the update both users have to press the invite at the same time
