Summarize your bug: Everytime I type my last name (martin) on a created character it says it contains profanity or too long. If I change it at all it works two n's or two i's. It's bs because Doug Martin is on the game!

What happens when the bug occurs?: When I type Martin as my last name on created character it says it contains profanity or too many characters
What do you expect to see?: I should be able to use my last name especially since its already on the game on real players!

I do not.
As the name does not seem to be too long or be profane there appears to be another reason this is being filtered. As you have seen, the workaround is to modify the name slightly. I do realise this is not ideal.
My last name is "Woody" and I know the jokes behind it, but it is a real last name and is no longer being used in the nfl so why can't i use it. Why is it that madden is tell people their name can't be use because madden 19 basically don't like it
