[Xbox One] Madden 16 EA Access trial - Stuck on "loading roster officia

The game initially worked. Then on second attempt, froze at start screen where it says "Press any button to continue" I don't see the "loading roster" popup that everyone else sees. It's just stuck right there.

I have:

1. Uninstalled and reinstalled several times.

2. Returned disc to store and tried new disc.

3. Uninstalled a few more times.

4. Downloaded digital version, thinking it would be different.

5. Deleted profiles

6. Unplugged machine

7. The "delete from everywhere option" is not available for me. 

This was a Christmas present for my son and the one thing he wanted doesn't work.

I tried that several times. Has not worked. Yesterday it worked for my boys so we thought it was fixed but today it's not working again. Getting fed up.

I can't play madden stuck on start screen and I can't delete my profile data nothing showing in the right what should I do now
