Stuck on loading screen..."Reading Storage Device"

I downloaded the standard version for Xbox One and I can't get past the loading screen. I've tried quitting and restarting and rebooting the whole machine.

It's frustrating to buy a $60 game and not be able to play it. Anyone know a work around or have I just pissed away $60?

It's always very disappointing when a newly purchased game does not work, luckily there is common workaround for this kind of issues:

• Press start at the main Xbox One menu
• Settings -> Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternative Mac Address > Clear
• Then power-cycle by following instructions on Xbox support page: https://support.xbox.com/en-IE/xbox-one/system/power-cycle-console
