Madden 16 Can't play with friends

I cant play online with my friends in connected franchise mode or h2h. However i can play online with random people. My nat type is open and so are my friends i tried everything including the basics like turning the xbox off and such but i even tried reinstalling madden. My friends can get into the loddy with me but it wont show the team i picked and after 30 seconds it kicks us both out of the lobby

Yeah, that's really frustrating! Is there any way to handle that?

In the past it was possible to play against my friend once but afterwards.. no chance!

need this fixed my father just got the game and we can't even play each other, it happens just as described in the original post.

Any answer on this? I have had nothing but issues with this games online friend play. We got the game to be able to play against each other and now cannot play vs each other in franchise. Please help
