Where to find active game

How do you access your active games?

I exited out of the sims game app and when I logged back in, my game was gone and I only had an option for a "new game".

I searched literally EVERYWHERE on the internet and people are saying to log in to Origin to find your saved/active games but when I log into Origin - it immediately makes me upgrade to the EA app and my active games are not there.

I feel like I've lost all my work which is so frustrating. 

Where the heck do I find my last game?

You didn't search everywhere. There is a stickied thread on disappearing saves on the very first page of this Sims 4 Mac tech forum you have posted in. Here https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mac/READ-FIRST-Saves-CC-Mods-or-Library-items-disappeared-iCloud/m-p/10242...

Whoever is saying you need to log into Origin to access your saves is wrong, very wrong. And yes, if you're being prompted to upgrade to EA App that is what you should do, because Origin is only for Macs running older versions of macOS and not able to run EA App.
