New macOS update isn't allowing game to save

Y'all I'm so sad. I've been an avid simmer for DECADES now. 

I have been playing Sims 4 via the EA app and I recently did the macOS Sequoia 15.1 update and now all of my saves from over the years are GONE!

I tried the manage apps > "repair" and that didn't fix anything. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. That didn't fix anything either. 

I've been digging through the forums and I haven't seen anyone else experiencing this issue.

I don't have any trouble logging in or getting the game started but every time I log in, nothing is saved and it's like a factory reset. I've tried to place households and the system says it "saves" but when I "save and exit" and then log back in and get to the main menu, everything is gone.

Please help!

I pre ordered the newest life & death expansion and I want to play so bad.
