Did I delete anything important?

I went on a mad deleting spree and I think I may have deleted something I needed. My game won’t save unless I save and exit the game. My sims house all disappeared. 

Is it possible to tell if I deleted anything crucial?

I compared the files in your screenshot to my files and everything is the same except that I have a Mods folder but it looks like you don't. However, it is possible I still missed something. You said you can't save unless you Save & Exit. What happens when you try to do a regular save without exiting the game?
