I'm not sure this is a bug, rather a difference between Intel and ARM chips or newer Metal architecture that could maybe do with an engineering update by EA.

2019 27" iMac with 8-core i9, 8GB AMD Radeon 580X, 32GB RAM, Metal 2, macOS Sonoma:

2023 M3 Max 16" MacBook Pro with 14-core CPU, 30-core GPU, 36GB Unified Memory, Metal 3, macOS Sonoma and 2020 M1 13" MacBook Air with 8-core CPU, 7-core GPU, 8GB Unified Memory, Metal 3, macOS Sonoma:

I prefer the M3 lighting, seems more realistic. The Intel is too extreme.

@Bluebellflora I will disagree and say that your argument does not make sense to me. If every other version of The Sims 4 has realistic lighting and looked that way before the upgrade, then it just got broken when they switched to native support for the M-series. They wouldn't intentionally change it in just one release for no reason. Hence it's a bug in my opinion.

That's ok. QV will decide what to do with it and ask for any more info if they require it Standard smile
