If anyone can figure out this problem you'll literally save my life!

So basically, I was playing TS4 with mods and while I was playing, I couldn't rotate my camera anymore? I tried different mouses thinking that was the issue but it's not the mouse. I've also tried my trackpad and turning the secondary click option in Mac settings on and off but that still didn't fix my issue. I deleted the mods thinking maybe something was corrupt and repaired the game many times through the EA app but it's still stuck. I even reinstalled the game as my last resort but unfortunately, it still won't rotate. Keep in mind, I also can't rotate sims in Create A Sim either.

I play on a Macbook Air M1 if that helps anyone..

I have no idea why it just stopped working but if anyone can help, I really will appreciate you!

Does it still happen with none of your current user data in the new Sims 4 folder?

Yep, that's the only way I can rotate my camera as of now.

I had a problem with my game where the save disappeared. I managed to resolve that issue and find the save which is now working, however, since going back on the game I cannot rotate the camera with my mac touchpad. None of the settings on the game have changed, and none on my mac have changed. I have updated both the game and my mac, don't use mods and never have. 

The camera rotate is working when I have an external mouse plugged in, but is only working 10% of the time with my trackpad, and only if I click down extra hard! 

Any advice greatly appreciated, it's really impacting gameplay. Thanks

Have you checked your settings in System Settings > Trackpad?

Have you installed any 3rd party software that may change the Trackpad behaviour?

You could try trashing the Options.ini file then load the game and see if it helps.

Hi, yes I have checked all my settings, they are all fine. 

No I haven't installed any other software. 

I've tried deleting the Options.ini file and it hasn't made any difference. 

The game is also crashing constantly and I have to force quit because it stops responding about every 30 minutes.

What steps have you taken to try and resolve the freezing?

I can't rotate the camera in sims 4. Both live mode and build mode

I try it many time sometime it move slow and stop working the next time.
