I cannot seem to get past the board game for the Second Moon in Upside Down Town

Can anyone give any suggestions on beating this? I get past the first part and then when the piece breaks through the wall I always die in this one and get sent back to the beginning. The two guards with guns always get me. Any way to avoid this?

It is always hard to say at what point you fail without Screenshots or Videos.

Did you tried to look at a playthrough on YouTube to see what others do differently.

You also could change the difficulty if you're not already play on the lowest.
