How is noone talking about how caustic is the most OP legend by far

How is caustic getting buffs when he is the literal only character that can completely shut a building down from multiple squads for a pretty extended period of time without even having to fire many bullets. The advantage he is given over a person in his gas is the least balanced thing in the game. He is the ultimate camping machine. And why do people like pathfinder (who doesnt breathe) and bloodhound (who has a mask on) get effected by the gas. Maybe not be completely immune like other caustics. But for sure at least take less damage or damage at a slower rate. And now that his gas cant be triggered through the door your only option is to leave him be or kick in the door exposing youself to the gas and if they are watching the door a good deal of fire while youre slowed by the gas and if you try and contest he takes 15% less damage so youre at every possible disadvantage. His gas must be nerfed

+ You said “Caustic is literary the only player that can shut a building down”?! Have you ever heard of Watson?
+ About “How Caustic is getting a buff“... because it was weak, and now his traps are nerfed and to activate traps enemies should stand close and right in front of it.
+ “For sure take less damage”... yes, because of Fortified, because his hit box is big (the second biggest hit box after Gibby) and this is for having a fair game (smaller champions get low profile, super big ones get fortified)
+ “kick the door and exposing yourself to gas”... why are you playing like that? Almost every room in the map has a window, through grenade... Even if you break a door and activate a trap, you will loose 4 health unless you keep standing there!

caustic isn't op still, most building Have windows and other places and in Open places he can't do nothing, the only time i used caustic and felt useful on worlds edge map ! in Fragment on the top building you can up so many gas and people can't push no matter how hard they try that's the only time!

@itsdeerbra I can't agree any more that Caustic is pretty strong. He can easily destroy a Wattson's defences by shooting the Interceptor, throwing his ultimate inside and that destroys the fences. He has no counter, except another Caustic. If they ever make Caustic Gas completely safe to allies without obscuring their vision, then that will be terrifyingly concerning. I wouldn't say he is OP because a full squad can work together to destroy traps and gain access if a single Caustic fortifies a large building. A Caustic/Wattson duo is pretty terrifying, but (a use for Crypto) can be countered with a well coordinated team with a Crypto and any assault character. EMP = Destruction of Traps and they can launch an attack.

@CompleatBeet You can also cancel Caustic traps by shooting at their base/bottom, same as Wattson...
Activated caustic traps can last about 10 seconds while Wattson's traps and ultimate can last forever. Wattson ultimate can cancel out caustic ultimate.

Using grenades, shooting to activate traps from far, using smoke (bangalour) or silence (revenant) can also activate them from far and you can attack after 10 seconds... you can also use crypto's drone to destroy traps without activating them. He has many counters as you see. Also Wattson's ultimate can last forever, while his ultimate only lasts 20 seconds...

@itsdeerbra He's supposed to be good at small zone control. That's his whole character ability. But they came out with this cool legend Crypto that deletes all of his traps and let's your team push while they are stunned. You can't just rush a caustic you have to play smart

Caustic is definitely meta this season. Apex has successfully integrated this camp culture BS back to the game. Now that your teammates can move freely through the gas validates that. Apex sucks at balancing. By the gas not affecting the teammates lets me know that they don't test out these buffs and nerfs on there own. Little crap like that breaks these characters. Put it back to how it was. The gas needs to affect friend or foe hamper movement and sight. You know why? Because he's Caustic!!!! TOXIC

thats just a playstyle that you're not used to playing, not everything is meant to be 'guns blazing all rush down full int' characters

dont like caustic ? use cryptos emp, or just use grenades, 

its a lot easier to talk crap about characters rather than do the work to counterplay them, every playstyle can be countered, dont be narrow minded in your playstyle
