Fulgur and Noctis-Legends

[ Edited ]

Hello all. I recently gave my feedback regarding optics, the Scout, and the P2020. I want to take the time to give my feedback, on the Legends now

As with any game, it is best to have skills or a set that fits your playstyle. I am a defensive player by nature so I enjoy having tools to fit that playstyle. With the way things are now though, there is not a defensive Legend that works for me. I am aware that Gibraltar is good in certain circumstances but, I can do far better with Wraith or Bangalor at this time. Gibraltar doesn't have the HP to go with the large hit box. Then you have to look at the community. Most of the competitive players agree that at this time, Offense is the true defense

I am thinking it would be best to add new Legends to better handle roles. I think Hybrids would be best. With that in mind, I have two Legends in mind, and I will explain why. Both are using Latin names for the time being. Starting with Fulgur:

Occupation: Military Scientist
Specialization: Specialist
Size: Normal (Wraith, Bangalor size)

Passive: Weapon Specialist- Fulgur has a higher than normal movement speed, but, can't equip Shotguns

Q: Electric Bullets- For the next X seconds, Fulgur's bullets applies a weaker, but, similar effect to that of Arc Stars (the slow but, not the increased damage to shields)

Ultimate: Hold the line! - For the next X seconds, Fulgur receives a damage resistance buff but, it lowers their movement speed

Fulgur is my idea on how to resolve the Hybrid Support. It is meant to be a flanker so it can get in a position and lay down suppressive fire to help Team Mates (Offensive Support). With Electric Bullets, Fulgur can lock down one enemy for the Team. If Fulgur becomes the target for the enemy Team, it can use the Ultimate and hold the ground while the Team rushes ahead

Knowing that Bangalor is way too strong with the Shotgun due to the increased movement, and due to Fulgur's playstyle, it was best to balance it out by restricting the weapons. Automatic weapon useage is highly encouraged with Fulgur

The movement speed buff is up to everyone else but, I am thinking a small factor. Let us say in this example that Bangalor has 10 movement speed base, and 20 with Double Time, then Fulgur would have a 13 Base Movement Speed. Fulgur would return to the same speed as everyone else with the Ultimate.. Forcing people to make the choice of "do I keep it the movement speed, or lose it?"

All in all, Fulgur fills the role of Support, with a minor role in Defense

Noctis:

Occupation: Military Special Forces
Specialization: Defense
Size: Normal

Passive: Behind Enemy Lines- Noctis receives damage reduction when moving

Q: Advance! - Noctis is immune to all effects for the next X seconds (shell shock, Arc Star, etc)(clears any effects on them)

Ultimate: Infiltration- Noctis becomes Chameleon like, gaining a slight invisibility

Noctics is the complete opposite of Fulgur. It is focused on pushing in to the enemy in the hopes to soak damage for the Team. It is a literal Leeroy Jenkins play style. You have got to know when to go all in or wait for an opportunity with Noctis. Master this, and Noctis will be able to go deep

If you played Oblivion, and remember Chameleon.. That is what I was shooting for with Noctis. It won't be a 100% Chameleon but, it will be just enough to make it aggravating to see Noctis

Noctis is a Defense Specialist with a Minor role in offense. Getting up close to the enemy to put damage down for the Team is the goal. If you find yourself in the thick of it, you can take the hits until your Team can help you

Between the two Hybrids, it should present a fresh new playstyle. One that encourages Team Play, and not trying to go for kills

That is the most I have. Thoughts?
