Crypto Drone Needed "Buff"

I have been playing since this game started and I think what they should of given Crypto was a slight mechanic difference for he's Drone. What if the enemy team is attacking you and you got to run away. Instead of the drone in 1st person view, where he goes in the drone and spectate, it should just be right next to Crypto or it should just flies up above him. So when the enemy its next to the drone while they are rushing him, it will ping him and then Crypto can use he's special to slow them down if it's available. When Crypto wants to spectate, hold down the action button which mines is L1 on the PS4 instead of tapping the button . What are your thoughts on this?
