Would like some feedback and your opinions on this legend/backstory and if you would like to see him in-game.
Backstory: During the war, the IMC came to attack the weapons and robotics facility known as R.E.C.O.N. - Robotic Engineered Combats Operations Network after receiving intel from inside that they were assisting the rebels in the war. As the IMC was unable to capture the facility and was drawn back by the rebels. However, they were aware that a mole was within. An IMC spy was about to be uncovered and needed someone suspicious enough to frame. Darren seemed to be the person they would suspect the most due to some of his work that others in the facility considered dangerous and deadly, despite this he continued to work on projects he doesn’t want anyone else to know about. The IMC spy decided to target Darren and frame him for the spy.
The IMC spy made his move to take out Darren but was foiled by Darren himself as he was a former IMC soldier and he was already suspicious of him after the IMC raid. Darren took down the spy, however realising that he was being taped he would be seen as a man who just attacked “another worker”. Knowing that he would now have to start his life on the run, he took all his work with him and began his life on the run. Both from the IMC and from the rebels.
During the war, he became a mercenary for hire. Using his inventions to help him achieve his goal. He did not care about his past, nor the consequences of his actions.
After the war, he was considered a “War Criminal at large”. He then got into contact with Tae Joon Park, a hacker which he asked to wipe his identity from all records to start a new life. Tae Joon agreed to assist him but told him that he owes him his life. Some time later he received a contract to capture a man wanted for murder “Tae Joon Park”. Realising this man was the one who helped him, he declined as the business was no longer open. He was later captured and was forced to help capture Tae Joon and get his name cleared of all wrong doings or have him start his life on the run again but his new identity fully exposed. Darren decided to accept the offer and began the hunt for Tae Joon.
Using some of his equipment, he managed to get Tae Joon’s fake identity as the Apex Legend, Crypto. He was now going after him, but the question is, what will his intentions be?
Legend Abilities Below (Note: May try and get this backstory animated)
Passive (Electrified) - Not affected by traps. Will still take damage. (No slowness through gas traps/fences) - Vision is still affected by gas
Tactical (Jammer Drone) - Can lock down doors and can deactivate traps for a short amount of time. Once the drone expires or is destroyed all traps will be reactivated.
Ultimate (Enhanced Combat) - While active, punching will deal more damage and push the target further away, accuracy is greatly improved and can see what shields enemies have. Getting knocked while active will allow a shield around the player which will absorb all damage. (When knocked, the timer is automatically set to 7 seconds.)
