playing across countries

Can this game be played by players in two different countries? I am considering getting the game for myself and my partner but my partner lives in China while I live in England and we are always looking for a new game to play together, would we be able to play this online with the distance factor?

Re: playing across countries

It's possible but I don't know how bad the delay is when playing.

I'm curious as well. I want to play with a friend from Japan but not sure if it's possible? We play on PS4 so do will we need to have both accounts from Japan?

And if we are able to play will it be possible to change the language separately?

Hey @DonTheLazyMan

The origin of the account doesn't matter nor does the language.
You don't need to adjust anything or change the language, it will take your default language.

Thank you, so what I'm understanding is that I can buy the game on the PS4 US/CA store while my friend can download the friend pass on the Japanese store?

And I would be able to play in English while they're playing in Japanese?

Hi!

Super late reply but, I did once play in Korea, with a friend in California. From my experience, there was basically no noticeable delay. In fact, we had a lot of fun! The cut scenes had a bit of a delay, but it wasn't a big problem for me.
