I am getting sick and tired of this *, cant rank up because teammates wanna fight in every situation instead of playing strategic, getting third partied everytime because other teams can hear our fight in airbase all the way from thunderdome and bunker. I have been just ditching my teammates at the start of every game now because of the fact that casual mode has bred a group of people into thinking this game is only about killing. I like to play passive aggressive, I have won games by myself especially in ranked by playing sneaky beaky and holding a building with a trap for unsuspecting players to fall into it. But apparently my playstyle is frowned upon in this game because "its all about the kills bro." I don't feel like dropping hot and being dragged down by my two overly aggressive teammates and then get wiped and be 1 step behind my next rank because of it. If only there were more people who play like me instead of the 90% of brute force people who think they're so good because they've been running through noobs with the r99 and r301 since launch. Ive also noticed they are the ones who complain the loudest about the new alt and re45 buff.

@AnlbrdI used the new hop ops and i really believe it is based on player skill, the new hop op doesn't make you have god aim you still have to hit your target and both weapons are close range weapons which means they are going to out perform weapons that are meant for medium or longer ranges, Ive been able to out play and out gun the new hop op on those weapons with the flatline and r301 on many occasions. It all boils down to using weapons in their respective niches and certain guns are good for certain situations, as well as player skill overall, r99 imo took no skill to use before and people were using it cuz it would melt shields in half a mag, the disrupter gives two former inferior weapons a fighting chance against automatic rifles and other smgs that have longer ranges for damage drop off. People complain about the Havoc being OP and it really wasn't ever, it was good at close range mostly sometimes medium with select fire, it has no stabilizer so you had to rely on your own ability to control recoil and the turbocharger is very rare to find, if it didn't hit hard in close range it would be useless like the old alt and RE45. All other weapons LMGs, rifles, and r99/prowler hit hard in close range but no one seems to be complaining about them not that they are balanced, they are but the meta of the game was r99/r-301, havoc, Longbow. Now it is going to change for the better. Also the only reason you are seeing it more is because I believe this is a beta test for those weapons and their hop ops plus the L-STAR. So the complaints on these forums at this point are pointless because the devs have the data to back up whether the new stuff should be tweaked or not. I say tweaked because nerf would pertain to something being completely godlike which the hop op really doesn't do that. If anything I think the LSTAR might get a slight buff to its overheat timer because imo that thing against shielded players is poopy stains. Also I can see maybe a slight tweak with the alt not the hop up itself, just the alt base dmg. In the right hands a skilled player will outplay someone with a better weapon but that doesn't mean the weapon is the issue, it might just mean you need to change up your playstyle. Majority of the time I feel most complaints about certain weapons come from the most aggressive in your face players that only use certain guns because they're used to the meta being that specific firearm and being able to run through folks. The game needs to change I really don't think the devs wanted only two guns to be top dog, and I want variety in my playstyles not being forced to use r301 and r99 because the melt people like butter and have zero recoil.
