What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Drunklord89
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible.
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? All
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Everywhere
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Does not matter, it happens anytime
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? None, it occurs persistently
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 01.04.19 23:50 GMT+1
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Cannot ping anything inside my inventory or deathboxes when I am using Ninja button layout
What should be happening instead? Pinging (X button for Ninja) should ask for stuff in your inventory or mark stuff in deathboxes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Select Ninja button layout 2. Try to ping with X or R1 stuff inside deathboxes. 3. Try to ping with or R1 stuff inside your player inventory

What happens when the bug occurs? When selecting Ninja button layout, pinging inside deathboxes or the own inventory does not work.
What should be happening instead? I changed to normal button layout during the game and pinged correctly with the R1, changed to Ninja button layout and the ping (with X now) does not work
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Change the button layout to Ninja 2. Try to ping things you need in your own inventory (e.g Health, ammo) 3. Try to ping things in deathboxes

Thank you for the info. We're also aware of some issues reported on the Ninja layout in this discussion below so we'll get this one tracked as well.

Still not fixed on xbox either, I think the issue is that 'A' is still down as the 'confirm' button in inventory, if this was mapped to follow the rest of the game controls too it wouldn't be an issue. Or even if all other button configurations were reverted during menu/deathbox time at a push. It would be a pain but at least I could ping out a turbocharger!
