Hello there, i started today my apex experience and it did not go well.... that means that i lasted in the battle (first 20 games) for like seconds or idk, 1-2 minutes....
My issue here, is that the training session i went through was so small and so "just go play the game dude", which is a frustrating situation considering that after 20 quick games i learned NOTHING more from the game. Let me explain this.
I still have no idea how shield looks like, never found one, never used one, when i get one i wont know which keyboard button i'm gonna need to press to charge it. Also i have literally no idea, what's going on with the weapon attachments (scopes/magazines etc), and what goes where, what to stash for later and what to ignore.
YES i tried to google some stuff, found some forums/videos with some kind of helpful explaination, but we all know that this is not even close to the real action experience. It takes me too much time to choose what items to keep and what to discard, precious time in which either my teamates will move on, or i will die trying to loot a chest.
I went to training session for like 4-5 times before starting playing, in order to get used the basic movement and shooting patterns, but of course it wasn't enough...
What i'm asking, is an extra (optional) session of training in which i will be able to see some basic stuff: a minimap with basic elements, weapon attachments, shields + rechargers, equipment, and of course, the option to choose a different hero besides Lifeline, so i can practice my abilities. Just throw some chests with all the above in the training session, adding a minimap and the option to choose a different hero (legend, whatever)
I'm not a developer but i'm sure that this isn't THAT hard, and i'm quite confident that many nubs like me will find useful. (not you, pro-playa, you de best)
You need to understand that experimenting with ALL of the above in a real session, it's ruining my (random) team's game. Let's not even talk about matchmaking yet (people were leaving the game before even started, typing gg, probably because they got matchmake with a 2-total-kill 4-level scrub like me... well i have to start somewhere :D )
Now imagine for every new player out there to be a more detailed session of training, wouldn't be better to not have to play with someone who literally has no clue how to even charge their shields and knows when it's a good time to use your ultimate ability ??
This post is not a cry for "help im noob", i'm pretty sure gonna find my way in before this imaginary and more detailed training session takes place (if it ever will), but i'm leaving this here so there is a chance for the future players to get a better start than me, and not to be flamed for not knowing the basics before jumping into the game. If there was a solo playing option, I wouldn't even bother posting, but since I'm forced to play only on team vs team, i just dont feel ok feeding and leaving the other guys -1 , making them even more negative about the idea of playing with new players. Thanks for reading this, if you did, and please if you want to waste time by saying "u puss git gud" or something similar (like you pro-playas tend to do in almost every "not noob friendly" related post), just move on bros... peace

Thanks for taking time out to share your experience, @Mpraskafoutas. I find myself still learning more and more about the game even though it's been out for weeks now. We've seen some other discussions on improving the training section of the game that you might want to jump into. Good luck in the ring!
