@CozmikRonin Then you don't really know what you are doing or asking for either. Or you can't read the posts.
Either way it doesn't matter. You'll be outranked by people who understand how to play the awful map KC better than you.

It's gold, so I'll give you that you're higher ranked on me on World's But tbh, you have to suck more than me on KC.
I'll assume your plat rank applies to WE.
The point is, regardless of your rank, the game should be fun even if you are Bronze IV. And a Bronze III would know more than you if they could rank up with 0 kills to even Silver IV.
So, you're fallback to who is higher rank is the typical, weak, straw man.
A Silver IV player in WE would be better than a KC Plat I.

Look, say what you want, but I don't think whatsoever the two maps play the same at all. World's Edge is far better, you can't win by hiding, and no I'm not saying you should win the game by hiding. I watch KC and everyone dropping in for the yolo kills is maybe advancing by trying to have their one game that they survive on drop get them more points than whatever amount they lose because they got punched and killed outright within 30 seconds.
I'm not surprised, and it might seem to be a weird thing to say but if you are good enough to get plat on KC with kills, then, no, you're probably not going to see the problem. I'm not going to avoid ranking up, so if I can do it by ditching the team, getting zero kills, then that's what I'm going to do. I don't think it's right, but that's what it takes on KC for most people I see. And with the split meaning it doesn't pay much to raise your rank above what you got in WE, I'll just stop playing ranked after I hit gold again and play World's Edge.
But that's the problem right there. No need to learn anything in KC at all. There's no point. I mean I've seen bad play in World's Edge, people drop and die on your team, but at least it's maybe worth it to go back and rez your team mates. Having a team of 3 matters in WE to get you to the final 5. Having a team in KC just doesn't really matter in getting you to the top 5 even though sure it matters in getting you Champion.
Sorry, in a weird way, I really don't think I'm the problem. I don't think you are necessarily, either, but I do think you're blind to whatever most people are doing in KC if you're of the opinion that the game is the same. It is for you, but I think you're in the minority. That jives with what you are saying as well as the number of posts here complaining about KC

I apologise because I may have misunderstood what your point was, I can't and will never consider camping to be good gameplay. Period. That's not to say I stick with my team when playing Kings Canyon. 75% of the time my team mates are the reason we fall in battle, unprepared, uncoordinated, useless and unable to register whether or not the enemy team clearly has a higher power level then ours Regardless of weather its a pree made squad or not, not naming any names 👀 so I'd be lying through my teeth if I said I wasn't an Apex solo player 😂 not all the time obviously but I hear what your saying. However again this is the case regardless or whether I'm playing on Kings Canyon or worlds Edge and I've had multiple solo wins on both maps, so I agree with you however it's the same players playing the game, so it's the same team mates making the same mistakes so I'm not sure why you feel the map makes a difference?

Also if you get 0 kills in plat and come 2nd that gives you a grand total of 24 points. You need 600 points to make it into plat 3... Do you see where I'm going with this? No kills may be cool till gold but it won't get you very far after unfortunately as even if you somehow managed to make it to diamond, that 24 points then turns into 12, then in master you do not accumulate any points for coming second, only kills.

I'm sort of glad I didn't have enough time to get past gold pre-split because I'd probably snap a nerve cluster bothering to get to plat in KC. Yes, I know you can't get through plat without serious grind getting zero kills, but that's how I feel KC plays. With the way the map is, I don't see why, even if I agreed with you, I'd try.
KC could be improved a lot if it was just a bigger map with appropriate loot drops. There are things to like about it, like the 'idea' of it. If you could actually gear up before running into an enemy team most of the time, it would make fighting more strategic, imo.
