This is going to possibly be controversial, but I think giving players and incentive to win matches would make for a better/more interesting play-scape. For instance, you could give players a purple loot tick for winning a regular match, or just loot ticks in general.
For ranked matches winning nets the same prizes, but when the season is over, each level of ranked nets a certain amount of heirloom shards. Gold being the starting point of netting shards and Pred netting you enough to purchase a full heirloom.

@Arkuos16Man... if I was rewarded like that for winning. I'd be a happy fella. I always play to win. Winning fights within a match is just a bonus. I get way more kills (and Wins) when not playing 'greedy' for kills.
But to reward "complete victories"? Seems like a good idea, but... we already have something of a unique dynamic right now. Those "greedy" players -goin' for nothin' but kills- tend to weed themselves out. Giving cautious players opportunities to ambush over-eager squads, or have smaller engagements between fewer squads.
To be among the few... is a nice feeling, when you see "Champion" at the end.
(When the game first launched, I seem to remember players actively landing in areas away from other squads. Players didn't seem to sprint all the time. The desire to win was top prize. Maybe I'm confused though, but, that's just how I remember it. I still get random squads who wanna win more than getting kills though! It's just more rare.)
Sorry for ranting on player-behaviour, not relating entirely to the topic!

While i see that there is no way EA would ever do the purple loot ticks I do believe that its possible that every 5 or 10 games won reward you, and then get something better for your 100 win milestone. But all of this is not going to happen unless they do something about the cheaters.

The problem is that some people win 1/30 matches, while others (skilled premades, for example, or master / predator tier players who are queuing pubs) have a win rate that's like 1/5. Giving a reward for winning would disproportionally benefit those who are winning a lot. It would mainly feel very unfair to solo queuers who are not near the top of the skill curve and almost never get to win.
