Why is Muzzle Flash so absurdly intrusive?

Can we get an explanation as to why muzzle flash is so utterly absurd in this game to point where it completely blinds you and prevents you from tracking targets?

Honestly why is this a thing? This is a shooter game, how are you supposed to shoot people when your own guns blind you?

There is an auto.cfg to remove it. Look on youtube.

I mean 20hz servers are awfull the experience! No one is complaining about that ?

No there isnt. They disabled this in the last patch.

Its just to give aimbots even more advantag. They can hit you with every shot, while people that actually need to aim miss all their shots.

Because of the server issues I have to shoot at air to get hit markers if I aim right at someone It won't register.

@Gidoru Because some devs around the world are dumb enough to think that balancing weapons around muzzle flash is a good thing. Same goes for motion blurs, god rays and any other "nice" things devs put into competitive games thinking its good. Surprise, surprise... Its terrible idea, dont ever do it. Devs should establish better coms with their playerbase to adress such things, its not bad to ask players especially the HC community on these topics to get the correct answers
