Bloodhound's gender is unknown because their identity is mysterious. You can read their biography here: www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/about/characters/bloodhound.
This makes classifying Bloodhound using the traditional male and female genders difficult.
The authors of the biography used the pronoun "they" because it is commonly used to talk about such people without being cisnormative.
I see it this way: BH is voiced by a woman and since I'v known that, I do hear the female russian/german (stretched) accent in her voice whenever she speaks therefore I consider her a woman.
@LuckyCanuckLuke That's like being with fans of, say, an anime that are talking about "ships" between characters and saying "why does it matter?". Let people talk, enjoy and imagine wtv they want or are you a thought police? Last time I checked OP wasn't bashing on anything but asking a simple question.
