Hey buddy, my girlfriend got an heirloom at her level 21 account the other day, I don't know why.
Just want to let you know. have a good day.

@yzhzjm71 You dont know why?
It is the same exact psychology casinos use for gamblers. Give'em a taste, and they are more likely to come back.
Give a low level account an heirloom, and they are more likely to feel obligated to play.

@Lord_Scorpion34 While that is typically how the story goes, fortunately not this time. Even if EA/Respawn makes a false claim that I didn't open 501 packs, I have it on video. I was also streaming it to friends who wanted to see the heirloom opening. Lastly, would be hard to explain away the steam transactions vs the current APEX account balances.
If this was a $10 issue, I would do what most do when they get stonwalled. I would probably cut losses and drop it. However, certainly not this time. Gibby don't back down from a fight broda'.

@Midnight9746 Couldn't agree more. Remember at the beginning of the season the ridiculousness of the daily/weekly challenges when the season was first introduced? Apex's logic was that they wanted players to play the entire season, so they made the challenges harder (therefore taking longer to complete). Terrible logic. However, if that is a primary goal of Apex, they need look no further than to tie an heirloom to playing/challenges (as an option to loot packs), not direct revenue.
While the game does need to make money, there is a tremendous value in active player base. Fortnite makes money by the truckload because they get smaller amounts of revenue from a very wide player base. Apex is apparently the opposite. They try to get big chucks of money with events and heirloom from a much smaller population.
If Apex wants a larger player base and to make more money, they should consider a non-revenue path to heirlooms and sell more lower cost items (that are more unique than the same old junk they have been pushing for 8 seasons). IMO
