At Present, the pinging system is fantastic. However a few features have been simplified in odd ways / could be improved.
For example when pinging an area on the minimap to head to an area, they say "let's head over here / there".
This is good, however I am fairly sure each region is defined in such a way that it would be
possible for players to ping an area and the character to state the zone name (seeing as the game knows to show the text for an area upon entering it),
for example, "lets head to bunker" or "let's head to airbase".
At the same time, something that would be fantastic but require a bit of additional work, would be if we had an area a little
off to the side in the inventory screen that allowed us to tell other player's what gun we are looking for, an example being
"I need a - (scope)" & "Peacekeeper - (here)" are both already existing audio in game, and only requires some blending of the audio files into seamlessness
to say "I need a Peacekeeper. One of the options could even let us ping for a generic gun type, such as Sniper or Pistol, as most of those audio words also already exist.
This particular improvement would help players find what they are looking for faster when good team-mates help them out. Especially for those without mic's.
The final ping improvement is something I already suggested, which is being able to ping specific res stations instead of the closest one in the next ring.
I'll just leave a link to that here. https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Feedback/Map-Pinging-while-Dead/m-p/8092818#M25041
I hope these idea's sound like good QoL features to everyone else as they do to me.
