Haha yeah. Only thing you can learn from playing vs pro players is that you are noob with anger issue now. Nothing else. NOTHING.
Apex was freaking fun at the start because we all were new. Now i go in, loot and get shot from player who jumps like epileptic monkey while landing each hit on my head. FUUUUUUUUUUN!

Yeah, well since you can't choose the server to play on, this is a problem because multiplayer games simply don't have the difficulty option.

MP difficulty settings are actually a thing, it’s called having a ranked matchmaking playlist. Unfortunately it will never happen in BR games because these games live and die off their twitch audiences and even Shroud can’t consistently drop high kill games in a server where all players are approximately at his skill level.
just watch any of the Code Red tournaments from any other BRs where by random chance they all end up in the same server, it’s nowhere near as high octane (no pun intended) when you haven’t got any normal players to steam roller...

With all due respect ... if you play around two hours a day you might be lvl 50 in less than two weeks so what you are saying sounds like "hey I just joined and I can't compete against players who played the game for two weeks!".
Look no disrespect but this is BS you need a week or two to get used to the mechanics of the game if you play an hour or two daily so it doesn't make any sense to be mad with players who actually only got used to the mechanics but are no pros yet.
I'm over lvl 260 and don't consider myself a pro (yet), I see lvl 80 to 100 and think they know how to play not that they are pros nor good enough to count on.
During the game I learn which player is to count on and who can't be trusted and I need to watch out for.
I got surprised by a lot of people who weren't even lvl 20 and got disappointed by a lot that are over lvl 100.
Just by wasting time on a game you can't expect people to be pros and those who has thousands of kills only played more but it doesn't always mean that they are more skilled that someone who knows the game and its mechanics but got only few hundreds kills.
Sorry but it makes no sense to complain about something you can become in no time so just play and enjoy.

People overestimate the champion because of their kills.
In many cases I had teammates that are lvl50- and landed in the same spot alone with the champion and eliminated them.
Once we saw a 13k+ kills and a 7k+ kills and a 6k+ kills champion squad who landed with us and get better weapons and shields but still managed to only knock one of my lvl70- teammates and got entirely eliminated by me.
Just do your best and don't overestimate your opponents.

I think that proper matchmaking would solve this issue for good.
In my experience, I agree with OP that most of pro players have ego bigger than themselves and often act like proper c...s. As on one hand, it motivates me to get better too, on the other it might discourage to get new players interested in the game or quickly lose their interest in it.

The level does not always tell how good you are as a player. I am level 72 and i have never played online games before. I have put alot of hours Into the game but at 1,5-2months in, i am still a beginner.
