Not only do players take a relatively long time to kill, they also have that much health after they're down, and a knockdown shield for even more health on top of that.
I just think the magazine sizes across the board (except LMG's) need a few extra rounds in the base mag size. It shouldn't take an entire clip (with 100% accuracy) to even down a single player, that's obnoxious. Especially considering that players tend to average 20% to 40% overall accuracy in games. Player health and shield health can stay the same. Assault rifles with 18 rounds and SMG's with 16 rounds? There's a very good reason why virtually all past shooters (including real life weapons) have a magazine large enough to kill multiple players or people before needing to reload. We shouldn't have to find specific attachments before achieving what's standard in other games. You're going to consistently miss a few rounds, basically guaranteeing several reloads before defeating a team. Against non-potato teams, I find myself reloading 5-10 times during a fight, and expending hundreds of rounds.
