It maybe a generation gap type thing that people don't understand watching streamers, but growing up in the 80s when pacman hit the arcade everyone stood in line to play and watched the other people play the game.... fast forward to 2019... arcades are virtually a thing of the past... now to watch good players too pick up on tips and tactics you watch streamers on twitch or youtube.... it's pretty simple.... no different then the 80s but today you just do it from home instead of crowding around a game at the arcade.
I hate to tell you this, But watching most of these popular streamers is going to teach you how to play the game wrong. You might learn good tactics, but you will also learn terrible strategy. Running towards every sound of enemy gunfire or Dropping hot all the time is good practice for your aim and fighting tactics. But you will also lose way more matches that way.
If you want to learn how to play a BR watch the streamers playing in the apex pro league.
There is a reason Dizzy and King Richard lost the twitch rivals finals tourney. And its because all they do is pub stomp and have very bad habits. They don't have pro league experience. If you mimic the way they play you are not only deluding yourself thinking you can out aim and solo most people like they do, but you will form the same bad habits of poor strategy and poor team play.
There is so much to take in. First, Respawn is nothing more than epic’s and creative’s throw away devs.
Yes the game is very infant.... * itself and still trying to crawl on its own.
Is it too soon? Maybe... But, the biggest room in the world... isn’t your mother’s basement! “It’s room for improvement”.
Whatever these EA backed throwaways do from here is solely on them... they’ve already made a ton, from a rather bare bones battle pass. The typical zombie will throw down the cash without hesitation.
Seriously, this is nothing but a cookie-cutter world from command and conquer designed for 60 people to run around and kill each other!
The buffing and the hit boxes do need serious work, like the very pathetic loot/guns that is basically randomized... for instance, approaching a base and it highlighted that it’s a “HIGH TEIR LOOT” and all you find is high tier garbage, beg to ask... polishing a * much? It’s these little things that make it interesting.
The whole watching and stream thing is overrated... anyone with a social media account can stream... the big issue is the parasites that have to cheat to appear cool... seriously, if you need that to feel cool or whatever... do the world a favor. Kill yourselves! These half cell organisms that use this garbage are just as pathetic outside the game... if EA/Respawn were actually combatting cheaters there wouldn’t be so many! Is it a lack of personnel? Don’t think so... the algorithm is doing all the work, it’s the sheer lack of inputting the data into it to combat these parasites. Sure PC is the most common for this, what about the consoles? A simple google search reveals the many options and source codes to combat this plague.... like every virus... kill one ten more sprout.
Its apparent that this game lacks luster but has a lot of potential to grow and be great, what game isn’t? It just seems that it’s half done and needs that attention to detail. That’s my take on it, just an option among the millions out there!
They messed up by going full Lootboxes instead of doing an actual meta game currency you can own. Theres no reason for anyone to play this game more than a month. Even if they do release 5 new champions youd have to be like level 160 or some crap to use them all.
Has a really good combat system but REALLY bad meta game reward system.
They worried about season pass + lootboxes instead of making a hefty meta game reward as the core of return playing.
But thats just EA what do you expect? Only they can turn something as awesome a an Apex launch into a dying game. (it has to do with them grinding money out of their favorite fans with lootboxes)
