I admit that me and my friend do this sometimes. Every member of a squad is important in my opinion, having that extra man can win you battles and matches regardless of the skill level but with that being said, we have and likely will again leave that third man to his/her fate but not without a good reason for doing so.
If we're in the endgame and we have superior positioning and that random third person decides to jet off on thier own and die then I'm sorry but we're not giving up the superior, potentiallly game winning positioning to come and rez them. That person WILL be left to die, it's that simple. It sounds harsh I know and generally if a squadmate goes down in or after combat we will rez but most certainly not in late game situations like that.
The same can also be said for early game too. If that random third person decides they're a fkin hero and starts engaging in combat when we've got no armour and nothing but a mozam then yeah sorry, we're taking our time to get some gear so we actually stand a chance and if you die it's on you. Sure we'll respawn you when we're comfortable but we're not rushing on over. Just because that third person might have what they need to start fighting doesn't mean that the other squadmates do. I can't even count the amount of times where I've pinged "I need a weapon" only for it to be ignored and for a suadmate to start battling it out with another three man squad thinking we're going to have thier back when all I've got is fists and no armour.
In certain siatuations we'll leave that third person to die, it's just how it is, as harsh as it may seem.

@Zriyvhriex, lolz I got what you meant! Thats why I began my previous post with that I misinterpreted your msg XD. Every game should be played with the intention of having fun, so basically thats why I didn’t comment on your post further XD.
Yey I got my first awesome comment of the day... Just a little sad that it was made on a forum for some reason tho... XD. Or it should be even better since I haven’t done anything amazing! Thanks for the compliment! You are... *looks in dictionary* complimentious XD
@ThatFawkzi you are entirely in your right in such situations. More likely than not such ppl die instantly and leave anyways. I can’t tell you how many times the second situation happend and me and my buddy were actually glad they left. Cause for some reason we win more with just us two than with that random third person. So continue to do you!

Often when I'm playing with 'random' teammates 2 will pair off together and die quickly. Then I have feel obligated to try and recover the 2 lemmings' banners knowing that I will almost certainly die doing so. What I don't understand is why these lemmings don't ever seem to change their behaviour. Also the rage of some lemmings who blame survivors for their death is irrational because each player is responsible for their own life. This is why I kick myself for trying to recover banners of lemmings who will either rage/rage quit immediately or I'll get kille din the effort.

I feel for this post BIG TIME. This community really sucks. My main experience with this game has been really crappy strictly because of other players ruining it for me. Not playing as a team. If you were meaning to make it a team based battle royal then you should have implemented and punishment system for not playing as one. I understand new ppl are constantly joining which is good. But they’re leaving just as fast because everyone plays for themselves. When I started I was constantly trying to help in fights and revive or Respawn. But I’ve been passed up to much and now I’m turning into that type of player because if I don’t, I feel the game won’t be enjoyable. Which is sad. I think the community needs to get its head outta is ***

I think it just comes down to how much people think you are playing their game, people get carried away with their own agenda while playing. It's just a lack of tolerance and people have a tendency to leave a game before they've even thought properly about it. It's just seconds nature for them to leave at the start of the game if they get downed.

@ApexIsNotRefind In my experience the toxicity is the FPS community, not just Apex.
Try not to let the bad experiences hinder your judgement when you get good team mates. It does happen and when you're part of a helpful team, it feels great.
Players may have just left a game where they were let down or trolled by their team and then reflect that at you when they join you in a squad.
I lost 2 team mates the other day. The squad that killed them were hanging around looting and although I was looking at their banners, I could not go and pick up them up and they timed out. They then spectated me running off to hide to try to stay in the top 5 of the elite lobby. Que the laughter from them "oh he's hiding" blah blah, and laughed when I get battered by a team of 3.
Next game, new team mates, completely different story. Just ignore any flack you may get and make the best of any situation. Ping and be helpful and your actions will be reciprocated in more matches than not (in most circumstances)
Happy hunting
