I heard a lot of people have a problem with the TTK and they think it´s too high. Probably because most people are used to a low / lower TTK like in COD, BF, PUBG or Fortnite. I personally think the TTK fits the game nearly perfectly because it is the mixture of PUBG and a teambase hero shooter like Overwatch. Also for me as a complete battle royale newbie it´s good because I can not get oneshoted or instant rushed (I think the only chance to oneshot someone is a Kraber headshot), I always have time to think and eventually disengage. Furthermore does the higher TTK fit into the intense gunfights we have in this game. Some encounters take serveral minutes and relocations, heals, disengages and reengages which make them very intense and exciting.
Anyway I have a suggestion that maybe fits both ways. It kind of lowers the TTK but also prevents the intense gunfights in mid to lategame.
You could add a damage reduction system on the armour rather then only giving you more health. So the TKK would start pretty low were you get 100% damage and have 100 health and then the more the game keeps on going and the better armour you find the TTK will get lower, maybe 80% on purpe / gold armour which would match the TTK we have right now. So we have a 20% lower TTK in early game and the same TTK in mid to lategame.
Don´t nail me down on my numbers I have no clue how much damage reduction would make sense but I think it would be a good system to give people the lower TTK they desire and in the same time prevent the intense lategame

I think right now The game needs to have a solo mode and a lower time to kill in order to be competitive for solo players that do not want to depend on others in others to succed.

TTK (Time To Kill) is the worst what I've seen in 20 years of my game life. When you need 2.5 seconds to kill an enemy with perfect aim it looks like circus cause in actual game you need about 10-20 seconds to kill an enemy.
That TTK makes game aim-based not tactic-based. For example: you flanked 2 enemies and get close to them, you are shooting at one player and while you do this another player have enough time to react and kill you. This is not normal. In normal shooter if you flank 2 enemies and get close to them they are 95% both dead even if your aim is terrible and you miss like 80% of bullets.
I think Respawn must lower TTK by 50% so tactic and positioning start to mean something. Now this game is 90% about aim.

I agree that the TTK currently feels a bit too long; however, the game has only been out a few days, I'd give it a bit more time.

I like the TTK how it is. If you can drop people as fast as in bf5, what's the point in gearing up helmet and shields?

I understand that the game is still new, but in the future, I hope the TTK (Time To Kill) wouldn't this long. Against someone with full loaded armor, your weapons fell like they do nothing as your waist clips into them. I like the standard TTK for naked players, but the armors add too much of a safety net, especially when the clip sizes fell as if they are not up to the challenge, only being able to fire a couple of shots in a burst or 6 rounds in the wingman. This makes the whole movement of the game feel like a more of a burden than a gift. This also makes using some lower fire rate weapons feel unrewarding although satisfying. It is satisfying due to the games amazing animations and sound. Other FPS games can learn a thing or two from APEX. I am so far loving this game, and I can see it going to high places.

Tactics and positioning absolutely mean a lot in this game. Your team play with each legends abilities is vital, and this is part of your tactics. What do you think moving through bangalore smoke or coordinating a wraith teleport is? Positioning is also extremely important. So much so that a few of the best abilities in the game, such as pathfinders zipline or wraiths phase ability, are all about changing position. You need to start playing the game as it was meant to be played and learn about its unique use of tactics and positioning instead of trying to make it play like some other game.
