Someone has been playing on my account, and I dont know what to do. It is impossible to get a hold of EA. I saw all of my coins and crafting materials were spent. I attempted to contact EA, and sat in the waiting to chat screen for literally 12 hours without a representative loading in. I changed my password and added extra security measures (including needing to contact my phone to log in for the first time on a device), and figured I would be ok. I'm not sweating the coins or crafting materials because I figure EA being EA I wont get those back. I logged in today, and checked my last game and it was while I was at work. All I want is for this guy to no longer be able to play on my account.

@Mateo2117 Enable 2-Step Auth on Origin and Steam, make sure the account connected to Origin (The Steam one) is yours. If you don't have Steam, you shouldn't have to worry about 2-stepping steam, just Origin, or if the account that's connected isn't yours, you have to contact EA to have them delink the unauthorized Steam account.
You can see the Steam account connected by clicking on your friends list in-game on Origin, and looking at the bottom left button. It should say "Connect to Steam" or "Steam: <The ID of the Steam Account>.
You also need to change your password to one that is NOT being used by any other account. Be sure not to stay signed in on public computers (like the Library, if that's somehow an issue), don't give your password to anyone, or even write it down where it can be easily found, (like a sticky note on your computer screen).
Also be sure to check if there's a phone number, or any other accounts linked to Origin. This should be found on the EA account page, which should be this link: https://myaccount.ea.com/. The best way to get to your profile account page is to open up Origin, click on the button on the top left that says "Origin", and click "EA Account and Billing". This will also prompt if Steam is connected on the main page labeled "About Me". You can also check the security tab to see where the account is being logged in from, although VPNs might be a problem.
Recap:
- Change your password!
- 2-Step Auth Origin AND Steam (Or one if you ONLY use Origin, since Steam requires Origin to play)
- Make sure there's no unauthorized phone numbers, emails, or accounts (Steam, Xbox, Playstation, Steam, etc.) connected. If they are, either remove them or contact support to remove them. This is because, even with 2-step enabled, emails can receive the code to sign in. If your password gets cracked again, the person can use your email or another to access it. You ALSO want to 2-step your email and make sure there's no recovery emails that you don't own attached to it. A recovery email can undo the 2-step placed on the primary email.
Once you add 2-step to all accounts, and change your password, the player should no longer be able to access your account. There's also security questions you can enable, make sure these can't be easily guessed by other people, such as family or friends. You are responsible for your account.
Also, with 2-step enabled, save the backup codes in a SECURE place, like a locked folder on your computer. (In terms of this, programs like Microsoft Excel, should have a encrypt function where it locks the file with a password. I suggest using one of these if your computer (the user account) is used by other people.) I advise against letting others use your user account on the computer, as if you stay signed into Origin or Steam, they can log into your account. Steam also sends the code via email, and both should allow code via auth app as a second choice. Avoid putting it on cloud storage like Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox, etc. as if you have 2-step on these, and get locked out, your codes won't be accessible.
If you have any further issues, you can reply back or contact support at Help.EA.com I know it feels like such a drag, and they usually have like... 12 people ahead, but once you change passwords, and added 2-step, you should be good to go ask them for additional steps. (Again, only they can remove the Steam account)
This link will take you to another AHQ forum, but @EA_Barry shares how to contact help regarding removing the Steam account: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Other-FIFA-Games/How-do-I-unlink-my-origin-and-steam/m-p/9243058/highlight...

Edited: After like... 7 attempts, I finally manage to tag Barry to give them credit for their post on the other thread.
