I feel this is more about them having to re-work everyone in order to make them viable in any game mode that isn't trios and that doesn't seem too easy to do.
Where one character lacks, the other characters pick up for them. Solos and stuff would be fun, but it wouldn't be fun to only encounter the same legend (wraith because smallest hitbox and void duh) or to come across every path leading to the circle being blocked off by a Caustic or Watts.
Many legends would be useless, others would dominate. Gib for one would smack everyone on console 1v1. Again, that doesn't seem fun in any way.
For as much as everyone wants solos, this game just isn't in the state for that. However, I would love to see teams of 4 as it adds more utility to each team and it would switch up the game drastically without having to change any character traits
What do ya think? Do you agree or disagree? Why?

Duos would be better than nothing. Then I'd only have to deal with 1 bad teammate/have a better chance when they die as it'll only be 1v2 not 1v3. It's impossible to win games when you get stuck with bad players unless you just get lucky. I've done my share of solo squad wipes but any decent team is going to kill 1 player (my team usually dies when an enemy looks at the funny).
Also, who cares if there would only be a few characters used in solo? It would be a choice to play solo. Nobody is forcing you (like they are forcing me to play with 2 scrubs every game now) to play solo.

How do I adjust to players that die dealing a total of 60 dmg between the 2 (that may be generous)? I play as a team. I played CS on esea for years and played competitive team games my whole life. Great assumption though #winning. Again, a LARGE majority of the time my teammates die because they can't f'ing shoot people or don't know how to evade or position. I am used to carrying but the weight in this game is heavier than any I've played. The percentage of terrible players is a joke. The fact I am FORCED to play with them is not enjoyable.

I guess this game breeds incompetence of gameplay and understanding. I've won games by myself. Most of my wins are by myself because like I said twice now and you're still not grasping, MY TEAMMATES DIE IMMEDIATELY. Hard to guide them when die instantly. Game is full of blockheads.

@TheeRealistidk what to tell you besides learn and adapt
You say you play competitive so that should be something you're good at.
I've had wins with teammates who deal no damage or one does at least 100, but overall we win because I stick with them and guide them if I can through use of the great ping system.
Anyways, like I said before, not every game is built the same, the majority of popular BR games have a system where all characters are exactly alike and the only thing that makes a difference is what guns you pick up.
This isn't that kind of game.
When you realize that, you'll stop complaining and blaming your teammates for your deaths.

@TheeRealisteven if your teammates don't deal any damage or hardly deal any damage you don't win games by yourself if they are still alive at the end because at the very least they become a distraction for the enemy which creates an opening for you to get the kill. I have had some really bad games where i myself cant land shots or secure the kill but the enemy is so distracted by me that it provides the opportunity for my team to go in and secure the kill and get the win. No one is ever on top of their game.

If you call 5 seconds of getting downed and thirsted a distraction then yes I agree. They are a 5 second distraction.
