For 3 seasons you've catered to wraith, pathfinder, Gibby, and wattson while neglecting Octane, Mirage, Bangalore. Why not introduce solos and even solo ranks for these legends to shine. Clearly you are not going to do anything about them seeing as everyone as consistently asking for buffs but you've done nothing to Bangalore and mirage and you've given octane a heirloom and TT that does nothing for his gameplay abilities.
Solos would be a great place for these characters and bloodhound as well to shine. I want to use these characters but all I play is rank because pubs is not fun at all, and it would be nice to to not look at 4 or 5 characters and think, what a waste of time, money and effort.

@SilentChillBruhI agree, im not someone whos only good at one legend and its the only legend I play, I play all characters... there little remark about certain legends being useless in solos was total nonsence because I play solo as each legend all the time and one legend in particular I have been wanting to try on solos believe it or not is crypto, I think cryptos time to shine would be on solos since solos is usually crawling with caustic and wattsons, I have been wanting to play octane aswell but since I saw gaming mercants video about hitboxes and saw how octane has that huge invisible hitbox above his head Ive mostly been trying to avoid octane but I stilll have had some good games with him lately, some days I play as different legends each match and other days I just pick one and stick with it awhile if it feels right and Im having good games with it, Some days I like to bamboozle players and just run mirage awhile and other days I may want to try out wattson or run around and be a goofball on octane... honestly pathfinder and wraith are the legends I use the least because they practically require absolutely no skill to be good at but pathfinder is still the legend I have the most kills on because I mained him when I first started playing apex and he used to be the only one I used, Bangalore would have to be 2nd highest kills then caustic then octane and after that idk I play as every legend pretty equally so hard to tell
I dont agree solos will only have pathfinder and wraiths everywhere, certain legends may have better abilities but its part of the game I want solos either way my only issues Ive ever had with solos was one single game I had 3 Gibralters teaming against me in the final 4... other than that one game playing Solos was great

As much as devs want this to come to apex. ALL legends are for TEAM play. Meaning solo cant be a perm mode. But it could be a LTM.

@CheeseRoll4000I play solo as every legend and beg to differ, each legend has their own strengths and weaknesses I have played with all legends enough to be able to play as each and every one solo,i do it all the time against squads of trios so I dont see an issue with adding solos and besides im no wheres close to being pro if I can do it anyone can
path 465 kills, bang 427 kills, caustic 411 kills, octane 368, Gibby 258, wattson 257 kills, wraith 256, mirage 217 kills, lifeline 195 kills, crypto 164 kills, bloodhound 148, revenant 111 kills
as you can see some legends I use more than others but those numbers arnt exact in terms of who I play the most as I used to main pathfinder and now rarely even use him except for challenges... I havnt used bloodhound alot since he was buffed and revenant just recieved buffs so I may get them to 250+ kills like the others soon if Im bored, as you can tell im not a pro by any means but Im not afraid to use any legend on solos as they are all equally strong and it all comes down to who is using the legend at the time and if they have a good or bad strategy, Ive tried plans before and they have failed but the times they do work exactly as planned are worth the wait but many other factors come into play like positioning, ring, how good/bad opponent is, etc just because someone has pathfinder and i have bloodhound dosnt mean the pathfinder will win it comes down to skill in the end my last pathfinder teammate in duos was pretty bad he could barely walk, hid in a corner, and wouldnt help in fights much

The issue with adding solos has already been stated by the devs, by adding solos it renders certain legend abilities useless ,thus putting that legend at a disadvantage and it lowers new player retention. For instance lifeline’s doc shield when reviving or mirage’s invisibility when he gets downed. Furthermore, crypto becomes even more vulnerable when on his drone because he won’t have a team watching his back. It puts them at a disadvantage because their abilities focus on relying on teammates or helping teammates. All while the other legends have all their abilities(actually being useable and useful). This all reinforces the idea that apex is a team based game, with legends and their abilities working in synergy.

@gfrtfvcsdStill not useless, lifelines one ‘’ability’’ is a passive that dosnt matter aslong as she has her drone, care packages, and fast heals
Mirages passive is not ‘’useless’’ with gold knockdown shields Ive used it plenty of times solo and survived because of having the passive and getting to safety
idc what the hell the devs say about ‘’legends being useless’’ its only an excuse... I play as every single character I know, its part of the game if one character is stronger than the others then use yourself instead of crying about it, caustic may be better in buildings while pathfinder may be better outside to have better use of his grapple, diversity is what makes this game great... during solos would be no different... ive played solos during the iron crown event and absolutely loved it, the mode was the best thing that has ever happened for this game but they have made excuse after excuse to not add it back the only reason anyone would hate solos is if they are absolutely trash as a player and can’t handle their own weight which is exactly why this game needs solos... before solos I was absolute trash and could barely get any kills then after solos I was able to help my squad and actually get kills because I learned to fight by myself
whenever I want to play solo Im solo dropping, if thats not what you want me to do then add a damn solo mode or at the very least a ‘’no fill’’ option in the lobby... honestly I would prefer a no fill option over having solos but others may prefer solos more

I’ll admit lifeline is still good without the one ability, but the point still stands that she still loses her passive, while other legends don’t.
”Mirages passive is not ‘’useless’’ with gold knockdown shields“
And are you gonna get a gold knockdown shield every match, I’ll answer that one for you; no you aren’t. Without a gold knockdown shield he won’t get the chance to get to safety. Not only that, but if a legends passive is not useless in one situation, does that negate all other situations where it is? No, it doesn’t, Fact of the matter is that you have a way higher chance of finding a white, blue, or purple knockdown shield, which makes his passive useless.
Not sure what your point is by citing you play every character, so have I, and so have many others. We all know some characters are better than others and strive in different situations.
I also played during the Iron crown event, including solos. Did I care for solos? Not one bit, does that make me a trash player? Not one bit, did I win on solos the first time I played the limited time mode? Yep.
Also, you can say that it was the best thing that came to the game, but that is purely subjective. I can say ranked was the best thing that came to this game, but does that make either of us right? Nope, because those are our opinions. Furthermore, legends being useless wasn’t the only reason they citied. The also cited new player retention was hurt by solos.
As they have said in the patch notes, they want to incorporate solos and are looking at ways to do so. As for now you are gonna have to keep solo dropping. Though I do like the idea of a don’t fill option.

@gfrtfvcsdGold Knockdowns were more common in solos, my point about the legends most players have a main and only use 2-3 other legends while I actually use every single one quite a bit, the trash comment was more me talking bs and wasn’t directed at you personally Im just sick of other players being against solos... if you don’t like it don’t play it... simple
About player retention... when I first started the game kings canyon in general gave me major bad retention as literally everywhere you went you would get completely obliverated by an enemy team and had no chance to learn the map or even mess around with all of the weapons (I was also new at Battle Royales and FPS Games on PC, before apex I only played pubg or rules of survival on mobile)
Solos gave me that opportunity, I used it as a time to explore each location, look for any spots that would be useful in fights, and tried out each character but more importantly each weapon... I literally had no idea what weapons I liked the most or what weapons were any good at all but playing caustic on solos was a great legend to learn with as his gas stunned enemies and gave you a chance and I had fun trying to defend bunker so nobody else could use it I would even try doing caustic gas traps i saw players do on yt where they would go to loot a room and you would trap them
My point is before solos I had major negative retention for the game I didn’t understand it that well or know the abilitys gun mechanics etc and playing solo helped me so much and after i went back to trios I was actually able to help my squadmates in fights, i do see your point about it being negative for brand new players though at the time I had already been playing a few weeks maybe a month or so, they could easily lock solos for level 30+ or level 50+

Yeah, I totally get where you are coming from. Also I really like that idea of locking it till a certain level, it gives them the time to learn the game, weapons, and legends. Then they can put it into practice with solos, because I have no doubt that there are others who would learn the mechanics of the game better due to solos like you did.
Also I think the other thing they are trying to figure out when it comes to solos is what happens to queue times when they add it. Like will queue times drastically go up due to people being divided 3 different modes?
