One of the reasons why we enjoy the game is because it is focused on skills (fps generally are), however, putting a side the irrelevant rewards you offers, you guys are making us grind the battle pass regardless of how we play, so it goes against the whole point.
Why don't you focused it on challenges? So it is meaningful, for example, 5 kills with the Mozambique on a single match (that's the hell of a challenge), or something like 10 headshots within 2 matches with the longbow from 350meters distance, or knock down an entire team with the spitfire without reloading (on a solo modo of course). I don't know, stuffs like that.
Those badges you give like season 1 level 32 are completely meaningless now, but with challenges they would * mean a lot and players would wear them with pride.
You can offer reactive skins for example. Specially for guns, like if you kill the champion they have a yellow reaction and red if the kill leader and black if both.
Do not force people to play with legends they don't like (bonus exp if you play with this legend, or 5 kills with this legend), there are people who started playing because they liked one specific legend, and they they won't be able to level up the battle pass because of a silly thing.
We all want solo modo due to * teammates against well formed teams, and also due to solo players that don't understand the concept of team play. Could be more fair with a different match system, like pre partied teams are matched with other pre partied teams, and people randomly matched against people randomly matched.
But mostly focus on that battle pass, because this gives away the projection of the game in the future, and it was so * in so many levels that I regret I bought it.
Guys, also increase the legendary drop ratio in the Apex packs, I mean, still profitable for you, but also for us.
I know this is a battle Royale, but you could have events like "for 5 days we'll introduce zombies and they will drop xxxx item (every zombie will, don't make it grindy) and with 10 of this you can get a special skin for the legend you want (zombie related)... Or finding guitars and you can get a skin for the weapon of your choice, many possibilities.
Also you could have like a raid event once a month in which players kill Nessy before it leaves kings canyon and other players protect Nessy from them (they can even ride Nessy) but do not allow grenades nor snipers. Benefits for players? Apex coins.
Tip: do not offer adventages if you cash in those events, I mean, you can't get the skins paying for them, only during the event, and you will never get any adventage in the actual game, always skill focused.
Idk, I'm just brainstorming here, what do you think?

Thank you for the feedback!
Challenges are popular in a lot of games and to set some proper expectations it doesn't look like there will be any in the near future as mentioned here, but the team is always looking for ways to reward players like the previous Bonus XP event we recently had.
The reaction skin is interesting, I think it would be nice to somehow identify which Legend out there is currently the Champion or Kill Leader so you know what you're going up against.

Im against it and I prefer the grinding style
Not sure if you tried quest based Battlepass in other game before, but it's annoying af since it affects directly to ur playstyle and the game itself.
Some example of quests ( real ones from other games):
Reach top 15 without healing
Get xx kills using 1 specific gun ( usually is an early gun )
emty 500 mags of 1 early gun
Ir's getting weird when u want to play the game in a normal way but ur squadmate/enemy focus in complete the quest.
