In most games like Apex, they usually split the games to prevent giving pre-made teams a too heavy advantage.
Maybe even make a ranking system for team-play orientated gamers.

Lower level players feel an understandable need to have a chance to get to know the game without getting matched against lvl100+ players.
Make maybe a place for players under lv 30 to play in.
Unless their stats are so good that they have no need to be in there.
(like a 50%-25% win rate, 10 kills in a game or an overall hit rate of 25-45%)
But even then it might have other negative aspects...
Just think about players getting bans...
Now, where do you think these players would come if they make a new acc.
The next thing I'm troubled with is what would you do with the people who duo?
Give them a random player and let them play in the team section?
Or would they have to play in the random section because they have no full pre-made team...?
So much to think about.
Jeez, I'm getting a headache.
How would you do it?? Really open for feedback.

I think that it's acceptable for full squads aka "pre-mades" to be in with everybody else because the advantage that being in a full squad has over not being in a full squad is a good incentive to make friends and when people make friends the community grows stronger and a lot of the anti-social stuff fall away. But yeah it's frustrating playing alone a lot of the time. But as I said, you should strive to get a squad together and get some buddies in my opinion.

Actually, it's happening already.
As they say, there will be an "Apex Elite Queue" and if you play top 5 you may enter it.
Well, that's what they say on the EA Origin In the up-date section.
I just read most post in the forum well even if I don't reply to them...
Cause of certain reasons a lot of lower lv players seem to have a problem with playing and enjoying the game.
And it is because they feel a too hard pressure form, high lv players as they state.
The sheer number of people posting about this should make you listen up...
Now, even if I as you stated would strive to get a squad together... in my case, it would not make any difference.
Since I enjoy playing against skilled people random or Team based.
But not all people here like that.
High lvs have an advantage they know the map/ drop locations/ weaponry/ bugs../ mastered control of the abilities.
A team of 3 lv 100 players that are pre-made will always have a big advantage over random teams and an even bigger one on random low lv players.
Elementary, my dear Warslag.
Now if Respawn can make an "Apex Elite Queue" I'm sure they can make a safe space for "weekend-warriors"/ "average gamers".
