I’ve been going to the doctors for a while now and they told me a few days ago that I’ve been going deaf. It’s not bad enough for a hearing aid but it might get worse. I felt pain in my right ear and every time I tap my right ear and the tap my left it sound a bit fainter.
I love apex, it’s basically the only game I play consistently either by myself or with my social circle, but if things keep going down hill like this then I won’t be able to play anymore. I win games with listening out for the enemies movements, reloading, healing, reviving, and anything else in between, I’m pretty sure that’s how most people play, but it this continues like this then I won’t be able to continue playing, because there isn’t anyway to know where the enemies are or what there doing based on visuals alone, I can, as of right now listen through walls, I can’t see through them.
Is it possible that you guys could add some sort of visual handicap that could detect audio for people like me? That might a lot to ask but playing this game gives me a distraction from the troubles of life and not being able to play competitive in any form is scary for me for very personal reasons.
Update just before hitting submit: I felt some pain in my left ear, let’s hope it doesn’t get worse.

Sorry to hear that @DogBert20, I can't imagine what it must be like.
Apex Legends has a number of accessibility features which can be accessed from the settings menu: https://www.ea.com/able/resources/apex-legends/ps4
There is nothing there along the lines of what you suggest but I will flag this with people in the know and pass your feedback on.
