They need to lower the data required to play when you land and until the first circle closes the game use up to 100KB per second upload and download. No other BR requires this much not even close. Fortnite and pubg are around 20KBps up and down. Unless they can lower it they will continue to have high amounts of packet loss. They need to fix the Netcode 20hz servers arent the biggest issue.

I don't know anything about the prices of servers, but i guess they could rent servers. I mean PUBG//Fornite had better netcode/servers at lauch.
Peolple seem not to care, but the effects on gameplay once you understand how a game works its enormous. It creates unfair gameplay.

The update only touches the client tickrate wich is useless without a server tickrate.
At lauch we had : Client tickrate: 60 Server Tickrate: 20 (with packet split )
They patch it to : Client tickrate: 20 Server Tickrate: 20 (with packet split )
And now if i understand this : Client tickrate: 60 Server Tickrate:20 (with packet split ) with some netcode changes i hope ???

Sure for casual players it doesn't matter and i'm being picky. But I never enjoyed Fortinite, i'm use to games like Overwatch, csgo wich servers are pretty good.
I have a 240hz monitor when i see 20hz server tickrate feelsbadman ^^
But if I learn something in videogames today to stay popular and alive you need : An esport scene and a twich scene.
Thing is bad servers are not Esport or stream friendly.
But sure Respawn did a great job on gameplay.
