But not good either. Without baby raging off the bat like most other threads, here's just some things I wanted to see improved/fixed but haven't fully hit the mark IMO. It's all my opinion, please feel free to disagree.
-Hit reg: Certainly better, but still getting multiple instances on a per day basis with maybe 10-100 games played (depending on how long it takes to get 15 levels per week), where shots are landing with audio and visual effects but not registering damage. Happens with all weapons.
-Server Tick Rate: Still dying behind doors, cover, walls, despite having said objects between me and the shooter. It's one thing for someone to down you in the transition from cover to cover. It's another entirely to be behind something 100% obstructs line of sight, then dying. This excludes being against someone who's got a higher position than you. If they're higher up, they can probably still see you.
-Audio: Audio has been an issue since the game first came out. Apparently it will continue to do so. Doors not playing sounds when opened, footsteps from walking/sprinting not showing up at all despite 0 external noise (gunshots, player chatter, character chatter, consumable use, etc. etc.), players dropping down onto surfaces behind you, or climbing haven't been played properly. When there's 9 people shooting, obviously you're not gonna hear footsteps from behind. When it's dead silent, (and it always is when I notice these issues), I should be able to hear them.
-Lack Of MMR Matchmaking: Nothing wrong with playing with newbies. Nothing wrong with playing with randoms. What's wrong is that I've played with newbies who've done better than most of the level 100s in my entire 700 hours of playtime. I wanna play with people who know what they're doing, not people who've played for 500 hours and still can't get more than 400 damage a match. Also, it'd probably help to ease newbies into the game if they didn't go up against people with 700 hours, or who are Apex Predator.
-Loot Distribution: Still running through entire buildings without getting anything of use on initial drop. It wasn't so bad on KC where another area for loot was nearby so you can just dip and go somewhere else. Proximity helped so you could rejoin the fight, especially if your teammates got stuff and you didn't. New map makes it so you can't dip because the loot zones are bigger, and because they're bigger that means more people landed there, meaning there might not be anything for you to get anyway. Leading to a pointless 5 minute game where you spent said minutes trying to find a gun, only to get wiped by some Wraith with gold armor.
Not sure what to categorize this under but does anyone else have issues with Apex and ONLY Apex causing their graphics card to run full fan speeds? High settings, low settings, doesn't matter, it just makes the fans in the computer run full speed. MHW, MWO, DRG, BDO, Borderlands, Factorio, Remnant, Risk Of Rain, Starsector, Dishonored, Destiny, not a peep from any of those games on any quality setting. Apex? On lowest or highest? Fans are on like I sank my PC in 100 degree bacon grease. Kinda ties into audio. I'd be able to hear if the fans weren't so loud. I've got an AMD RX 580 for reference, 60 fps for all games listed including Apex.
