I hate this in every shooter. Battlefield ist the only one I know where this is not annoying.
Let people just jump once with the normal height, second jump immediately after the first one should only be half as high, and the third one should not let you jump at all.
This bunnies are all over the place...why the hell do we have reality based guns (bullet drop and so on) but you can jump the whole time.

@Hadikan_TTVLearn or leave? How old are you, 12?
A little bit more understanding or discussion input would be nice, otherwise don't waste my time or bother someone else with your wisdom.
Bunny hopping has nothing to do with skill, if you think it is one. I still can kill you! Its just desperate. I've killed enough guys while flying, or jumping. Hell, I've killed also some, while I was jumping off a jumppad in midair. So no skill needed for Bunny hopping.
It is just annoying. And as I was 15, we called the bunny hopping guys NOOBS.

Yeah well you know, that's just like your opinion man...
I shared the same point of view before I actually used it.
Now, I would not like to stop using it.
Of course it is skill-based and of course it gives you advantages while escaping and heeling.
I didn't use it for other games but in my opinion, it fits into the fast paced play style of Apex.

@II-LAZZARUS-IIMovement is a huge factor in this game for winning or losing. So i agree learn it or lose to it is how id put it verse saying leave. If cant hit someone who bunny hops thats on you not the games mechanic. =P
Also Movement is one the number 1 skills you can obtain in this game. Movement is everything. Without good and fluent movement then your a sitting duck who is easy to kill. You think being in frag at the 5 stack building you can win going up zip lines to each floor? Or do you think using your movement to climb up the raile silently to their floor will win the fight? Movement is the skill of the game anyone can point and shoot.
Not to mention the fact you are actually here upset about bunny hops means the skill of movement has out played you and made you upset. So to say movement is not skill is baffling when that skill out played you.

@II-LAZZARUS-IIi dont understand why you're mad about this, Apex is a game solely based on movement and i think bunny hopping is just as important as strafing, spam crouching, ect. you getting mad at bunny hopping is like saying "take away the spam crouch mechanism because its useless in a gun fight!" or "take away the sliding mechanism because its annoying!" you using the reason "why are there reality based guns but you can also bunny hop?" is stupid. you cant slide everywhere, you cant double jump on a jump pad, and you cant auto run in real life either.

Bunny Hopping (BH) is the easiest way to escape, and once more. For me, hopping around is not a skill.
It is a desperate move to survive, not more. It's annoying cause in this game the TTK is not low, so you need more bullets and time to kill. The chance for a BH to survive is bigger, cause during the fights against him, his teammates, can kill you easier.
BH is not the problem, its "more" the time needed to kill him, before getting hit from others.
Nomally I kill them, when they jumping around. But sometimes don't, cause I get killed from others or his teammates.
All I am saying is, it is just an easy mechanic to escape. And with 24 Bullets in a hot fight, the chances are big enough.
People complain about the Pathfinder nerv, the Wraith nerv and so on, but it was because those Legends had an easier way to escape. And thats BH also for me. An easier way to escape.

this game is based off movement don't get mad when someone is using it properly. there's literally nothing hard about killing a person who is bh its the same as people strafe crouching in a gunfight

Fully agree. Bunny hopping is the single dumbest shooter mechanic. it's done because it works, but it only works because of thoughtless game design. Most people only have a 16 inch vertical jump, but in video games it's more like a 5 foot vertical jump, which is truly absurd.
Game devs can absolutely make vaulting mechanics that don't rely on 6 foot vertical jumping. In fact Battlefield should remove jumping all together and only have vaulting mechanics. If they insist on keeping random jumping there should be a 5 second 50% movement speed penalty after jumping(not vaulting). It's entirely a game mechanic design issue and everyone that says it's just the way it is is kidding themselves if they think people actually hop around while while firing guns.
See how high you jump with 40+lbs of gear on and what it does to your ankles, then tell me bunny hopping should be a thing.
