On a serious note, the game as just become a sweat fest!
Now I understand not everybody is master / predator level however for those of us who are having to sweat in ranked matches is hard enough and it would be nice to be able to go into public matches and not have to feel like we are still playing ranked.
second issue this causes is people running smurf accounts, and although I personally don’t do it I understand why they do. It’s not fun to be constantly playing sweaty.
smurf account ruin the experience of the game for the new people joining the game for the first time.
mentioning new players, respawn say they have had there best season yet however I wonder how many of the “new players” they have gained have just been smurf accounts? If 10 people out of a 100 make smurf accounts that’s going to be a big increase on new players.
A game with ranked mode does not need SBMM it’s actually ridiculous. I have a overall 5 KD 20kill badge 4K damage badge and master ranked before the split. I am constantly getting matched agaist the same people I come across in ranked.

You do have a point lmao . I have a smurf and i know 2 others that do as well.

I have like 4 smurfs and wont stop until SBMM in pubs is removed. My K/D is .5 lower in pubs than in ranked even though i was D1 last split... This is getting beyond acceptable

I've seen a few posts similar to this one, and I am still confused about them. From what you stated, SBMM seems to be doing exactly what it was designed to do. Is your problem that you want to queue into people with a lower skill level? Because if your complaint is that you keep queuing into players of equal skill, that is the only conclusion I can come to. And if that is in fact the case, then in a paradoxical way, your problem with SBMM is why SBMM was added in the first place.

the problem is, its definitly not working, players in gold or plat get constantly mixed wit preds or master players..
even in regular games you only find sweaty lobbys with die hard freaks.
or even worse a pred thats too * in its own league so they create a smurf account.
ssbm, smurfs and laggy servers destroy the game completly!

the problem with sbmm is it kills the drive of the player to play. no one wants to play and be stagnant in their progress. they want to play and practice and get better and see the fruits of their labor and feel some pride in their efforts. with sbmm if you get better so does your competition. it's designed to keep you average. so new players are happy they aren't getting stomped and they stay long enough to get into the game. then when they hit the sbmm wall they stop having fun. it doesn't make much sense. there should be a lobby for players under a certain level and that's it. rng takes care of the rest. the best players in a lobby aren't going to always make it to the end because of it.

Your KD is 5 and you still complain about SBMM ? Ahah!
My KD is 0.8 and it is really shows that SBMM working WRONG for me.
Cmon man!

SBMM is fun. There is a low tier lobby and then the "rest".
KD of 5 is extremly good.
Still it's annoying for you getting matched against other masters/preds.
But yes i do understand and i am not here to trash talk.
But listen to this, i am not even near 5KD no 20bombs, 4k badge.
I get in a solo game, get to low level guys under level 50 no smurfs. When i see a premade pred squad flying out from the ship.
I have got to that skill level that preds don't always get a free kill from me and i can kill them one on one.
But now here is the fun thing. My team.
They dont have the movement, shooting is bad, positioning is bad.
they have nothing to put up against these guys. I might down one of them, damage a second. But now it's time to leave the game.
They are dead, standing still, ADS against hipfire and good movement. Y know how it is.
So why are these random guys in my lobby?
I can't save them and they are not saving me.
So in the end how tough is it for these guys if you, think it's sweaty against equal skill teams.
