The fact that your devs talked to the community the way they did calling players @$$hats etc. is not how you make money. I'm bummed I spent any money on the game like I have since launch. I actually like this game but I will no longer be supporting people who talk to their community that way.
If I did that at my job I wouldn't have a job anymore and PR would lose their minds. If skins aren't selling you need to make better skins that appeal to your demographic. You also can't expect to become fortnite over night. You have to earn that and part of doing that is listening to your community and not name calling the people giving YOU money.
We all know "the customer is NOT always right" but if you run a business you need to treat them like they are right and if multiple customers complain then maybe they are 'right' and you should listen instead of acting like a child.
There are plenty of games out there to play. Be nice to the people paying for your game(s).. I've uninstalled for the last time and I won't be back on Apex or Origin ever again. My last uninstall was because of your server instabilities. This time it's because you obviously don't actually care about your community. GG folks!

It's important to post for visibility because the devs like this need to go. They called the community that supports them 'freeloaders' '*' '*' etc. This is not what companies do. Imagine if common brands acted like this to their community.

Well, he's not exactly wrong in calling ppl freeloaders. It is a f2p game. The problem is "A freeloader is someone who exploits chances to get free stuff whenever possible." And that's what ppl are doing in this game. B@tching and complaining about not getting their "free" twitch prime skins, legendary skins, this skin, that skin, Unskinny bop, Baskin Robbins...the list goes on. As a dev, yeah, he shouldn't of said that. But in all honestly, he/she is not trained to deal with ppl acting like kindergartners. Kind of like yourself I guess. A 3 year old does/says exactly that...." I quit"

@Enxoru I don’t even have to read your post to think you’re either easily offended or entitled especially reading ‘is not how you make money’. Thats where I quit reading.
Devs can talk any way they want. Someone criticizes you and your work and is being disrespectful and what devs just need to sit there and take it? Nahhh, some gamers think they can say anything they want because they feel slighted and when a response comes back they’re like ‘well that’s not professional’. [Removed - CM], what goes around comes around.

It's free to play... Also I spent money I pay for the game and I don't want them to talk trash cause we're not all playing without paying..

Wrong! These devs are employees. They don't own the company and they can be replaced by devs who treat people with respect. I'd love to see you run a business and talk like that to your customers... Truth is... You won't own that business for long if you alienate the people giving you money. When people start with "I didn't read" they lose any credibility with their statements IMO. I actually work in the in the industry and anywhere else this would get you fired. So there is no excuse.

@jumanjaydazed
You sound like a little kid.
The majority of players that play this game are probably adults.
From my perspective, an adult, I dont see playing this game as if I am freeloading. I bought the battle pass and extra tokens to support the game. I liked it. I do not see myself as a freeloader. I do not own the software and Respawn has not sent me a check in the mail to buy food nor new tires for my car.
I play a game I dont own. I purchase the right to use virtual action figures skins for virtual action figures. I do not own the skins nor do I have the right to sell them on turbo squid.
Should Respawn give away more legendary skins... Sure!
Would it hurt the game? No.
It would help the game. Yes
Why? Because the people like me with money and bank accounts will decided to support the game more.
But greed and arrogance will make me spend my monthly entertainment money else where.
Do I care some people do not pay.. no
Will I call these people freeloaders.. no
What do I call these none paying people... I call them little kids and casuals.
.. I want everyone to have the nice skin and enjoy themselves because I want someone to play this game with, and i dont caee uf they have money.
Just by paying your time to play the game you are supporting the game.
A game is dead when there is no player rather they are playing for free or paying.

I don't think you understand my point. I'm not saying everyone playing this game are freeloaders. I'm stating that the ppl, paid or not, who complain about not getting freebies are freeloaders. How could anyone disagree with this? An "adult" would understand that by reading thoroughly.
