Have a squad as platinums and got queue up with apex predators like WTF is this some kind of bull *?

Ew. I played about 10-15 games of diamond and had the same issue. I acknowledge the chances of being in a lobby with predators is more likely if you're in diamond but it's still rather annoying. The champion squad was always made up of predators. Sometimes not even newly promoted predators, but a full squad with over 2000rp each.
Anyone know of a good time to play to avoid meeting these? It would be much appreciated, ha. Oh...EU, BST, thanks.

Few players in the ranked queue means wider interval of RPs in the same match, regardless of rank. Now add the statistical fact that Predator rank players consist of the (give or take) the 99.9th percentile of all players, Diamond rank players of 99.5th percentile and Platinum players 98-99ish percentile of all players, which ofc narrows the player selection so much more than in silver or gold rank for instance.
So the best time to play ranked is on prime time, which I guess is like 6 pm - 00 am or something, and avoid to play during early morning hoursl. But in higher ELO, the chance of getting matchmaked with players several division up is kinda inevitable, unless we want crazy long queue waiting times.
