Please put third person as a setting to turn on so more people will play if it isn’t always having to be third person

Yeah but you can't mix 3rd person and FPS players in the same match!
If you add 3rd person, do it in an own gammode please...

@Flashshark1980That isn’t possible, it has to be mixed to keep queue times the same, if they were to split the queue permanently it would have to be for solos or possibly duos but preferably solos

I can't imagine anything worse.
Options are fine if they truly are optional.
However 3rd person gives an obvious tactical advantage in certain situations(safely looking around corners, seeing behind you), while simultaneously worsening the gaming experience in others(looting, hipfire accuracy)
As the advantages of 3rd person are unique, you'd be forcing players to use this mode to stay competitive & focus their time & skill on mitigating its clunkiness.
It'd objectively worsen the experience for all.

You can't mix 3rd person and 1st person players! Thats total nonsense!
3rd person can look arround edges... thats a massive advantage.
1st person can use scopes much more effective.
Nope mixing those 2 gammodes is just a bad idea...
There will be 1000000000 complains on both sides!
And you cant mix solos with duos or trios...
All playmodes have to be on their own, else you do not solve the problems!
Solos do not want to play duos, because premade duos would be too strong and solo teammates too bad...
And duos don't want to play with trios, for the same reasons...
You have to split or you leave it as it is...
There is no option inbetween!
Of course this will impact gueue times...
But you have to accept his for a "better" game!

@Flashshark1980Obviously Solos,Duos, and Squads would be Seperate Game Modes.... otherwise its the exact same nonsence apex is now one team a player is solo because they never got any teammates in character selection another is left as a duo because someone raged quit and everyone else is trios
Those obviously need to be seperate game modes its not rocket science...
First/Third Person is more of a setting, think of it like field of view settings one players field of view may have the setting on 70 and another player may have it on 110, obviously the one with 110 has a better view and better advantage but it’s because he is using the better setting, I keep mine personally on a 104 as its what everyone seems to recommend
Some players may enjoy first person and seeing the scopes, others may prefer to see there character and not see the scopes, its your preference, therefore its a setting, not a gamemode
In the end a persons skill is not only determined by there aim, movements, and other talents but the settings they have chosen to use to their advantage
if a player has awful sensitivity you can assume there aim will be awful, if someone had lower sensitivity and someone else is on high sensitivity, odds are the higher sensitivity player will always win assuming they are good at aiming in general and don’t have it too high for their skill level
Apex is not a well balanced Game, between the awful matchmaking making of solo queues with SBMM, to the weapons obviously not being the same power, some playing on controller and others on mouse and keyboard, the wide variety of settings, abilitys, and everything in between, I don’t see an issue with a setting for first/third person there are hundreds of factors that determine every match and this would only be one more so its no big deal in my oppinion apex is one of the few games capable of implementing this without causing drastic issues as its already unbalanced and always has been
If they ever implemented this to where there was advanced options it would be a game changer but would make apex so much more lively, what I mean is if you could customize which view you want for different actions, maybe you want first person for sniping, but third person for hitfiring, third person when knocked down to see your knockdown shield and how much is protected, but first person when your playing as usual
it would have alot of benefits Ive played many games over the years that have both first/third person views my favorite would probally have to be legend of zelda ocarina of time, if this was introduced to the battle royale genre apex would stand out from the crowd and in a good way
