How many hours do you have to put into this thing. I've paid for it but have no chance of getting the stuff I've surely bought. You really need to improve it. Thanks

Remember Friends Kills mean nothing in this game it's all about CAMPING FOR POINTS

What’s confusing? The battle pass is poorly thought out trash and is essentially one immense grind. I agree with them. Anyone who believes they got what they paid for has extremely low standards in my opinion.

lol current battlepass has poor content. Yes, I agree.
but I'm confused, the battle pass is already almost 2 mth, everyone knew what content it offers since day 1. It's understandable people complain and demand more at that time.
After almost 2 months, What's the point of complaint now ?
The OP knew about the content beforehand and still decided to buy it, which mean he accepts the content, right ?
And it's not even grinding. I play casually every night after work and my level is 96 now. I often play 1,2 legends only ,not even care about those bonus points.
It's too easy to reach level 100 for everyone by the end of the season.
And "Anyone who believes they got what they paid for has extremely low standards in my opinion."
You paid 950 coins for it
- You earn 1000 coins
- You earn at least 1 legendary item
- I don't need to mention other things that you already know.
Why is it low standard ? I agreed the content need some exciting improvements for future battle pass.
But If you don't believe you got what you paid for, I'm not too sure what you expect to earn for that effortless amount of "grinding"
Can we just ...accept it and let it go ? Respawn probably realize what they lack of and they already promised to compensate us in the next battlepass.

Yeah but I don't think you can really blame people for not sitting down and figuring out how many hours play it would take to unlock everything... and tbh I didnt see that mentioned anywhere obvious in the passes advertizing ot sales pages. I think that is what the OP is upset about, not the content but the fact that it takes a lot of hrs in game to get it all.
Balancing battle passes is difficult, you have to accomodate the streamers who play 8hrs a day and the casuals who may only get a few hrs a week. I can understand that someone who purchased the pass and will only get to level 60-70 by the time it ends may be a little upset, especailly given the majority of the content isn't exactly wonderful.
I think when selling these things they should make it clear on average how much playtime it will take to unlock everything.

@kartikins
Let me explain a few points:
-Battle pass: will require certain amount of hours to level it. It's obviously a fact so I don't think it's necessary to mention anywhere. In fact, I don't know if there is any game tell you " this battlepass need xxx amount of playing time to achieve" . If you know, please tell me.
- I really don't think it's grinding. I work from 8 to 5, I usually spent few hrs everynight to play this game, I had to share my PC with my gf, she plays the game too so I dun have much time left to grind. I only play Path and Octane and ignore weekly legend bonus. My BP level is 97 or 98 now.
- About my gf, she joined BP much later. She's also a terrible player. By "terrible" i meant: she has never used the mouse/keyboard to play PC game before. She got like 1 kill every 3 matches now. Her Apex level is 73, and her BP level is 53. She still got 50 days to reach level 100 if I'm not wrong
To prove my point, this is her stat:

I dunno, but grinding has different meaning in my book. It's sth wrong If someone plays 1 hour per day and expect to reach level 100 by now.
Wanna know what the real grinding is ? Make a quick search of PUBG most recent Battle Pass. Here is some facts:
- Majority of players can not reach max level by the end of the season.
- On my local PUBG group , Some people offer PUBG leveling service.
- One example: One BP mission requires you to drive 500km using vehicle. One person test it, he drove 50 km for 4 hours.
Link: https://forums.pubg.com/topic/320417-drive-500km-in-a-buggy-seriously/
- Another example: require you to shoot 300 mags with a Uzi. Uzi is an early game weapon FYI.
This is grinding in my book.
In Apex, you just play the game normally, don't need to do any specific quest that potentially affect your gameplay and you will eventually reach max level. It's easy af and I like it.
In PUBG, I really hate the Battlepass. Imagine when you try to play a normal match while your teammate run around shoot everywhere with his Uzi in order to complete 300mags by Uzi quest. It's annoying af. Or another teammate get on the vehicle and run around the map to complete the 500km quest. It seriously affects my game, no one wants to fight or win the game, they just want to do quest.
Despite the lack of content, I'm still ok with Apex BP1. I still can play normally without worrying the quest.

@d3adc3II If you're going to start a post by being that condescending, you should maybe not follow it up with a bunch of complete nonsense. I personally agree with you on the level that with a total of 3 months to unlock all I would expect most people not to have too much of a problem with that... but that said, you and your gfs personal subjective anicdoatal experience doesn't prove any objective truth either, so in other words, you have nothing to explain and took a long time explaining it.
If the OP feels the pass is grindy and worries that they won't get all the content in time, then nothing you or your gf did/experienced changes that, In the end you cannot present your experience as the standard or null hypothesis by which things should be measured, you can't say the OP is wrong to feel this way. And citing other battle passes you think are more grindy is not only subjective but also a dreadful example of whataboutism, once again, proving nothing about this specific case.
My only comment really was I think it would be better if they were clearer and more upfront about exactly how long the battle pass would take to unlock, which, so far as I can tell is not the case. 7-10 hours a week playing one video game may be a lot to some people, even if not for you, and if they worry they wont have the time to get everything they paid for that is a real concern... why should they not simply get everything on the pass when the time is over whether they made it through all the levels or not? I don't believe this is the case with Apex, or with most battlepasses, and imo it is a perfectly reasonable question to ask, even if to you it isn't important or relevent.
I don't really think the BP should be "changed" at this stage, but I do think that they should be much clearer about the time investement it takes, and I certaintly think people shouldnt lose what they paid for because they didn't have enough free time to get it within the BP period.. There are a lot of trends in modern video-game monetization which are imo disgusting and anti-consumer, and the BP is but one of those. Practices which would not be accepted in any traditional businesses... imagine you bought a car where the ariconditioning would only work if you drove a minimum number of miles a week!!
