Playing on London servers over the weekend, heck most days really, I used to queue a casual game and then instantly get plunged into it. But now it seems I'm having to wait a minute or so to actually start a game...starting server/match takes much, much more time than before. This is actually quite worrying for me in terms of Apex as it's the first time I've felt my time is genuinely being wasted....if there are millions of players then why during peak play time on an active server is there a noticeable wait for the regular game? Whilst I may expect that for ranked or limited time modes, for the normal game mode??? (Half past five, Sunday afternoon, two minutes to get into a game on London.....)

Of course the numbers are dwindling... people are growing tired of not being listened to.
They created one of the best fps games, the movement and gun mechanics are first rate and better than any other BR. But since the end of season 1 respawn has done everything in their power to * off and alienate their player base and ruin such a 1st class game when it launched.
They could bring back players by doing such simple common sense changes such as
1. Solos permanent
2. Duos permanent
3. Choose either kings canyon or worlds edge to play
4. Get rid of the charge rifle
5. Balance out the weapons closer to end of season 1

None of your points are good changes. The first two, without any form of SENSIBLE matchmaking, would be just as tiresome as now....streamers and predators just destroying the casual userbase who can't keep up. Duo's is already sweaty and that makes the regular mode more fun. Choosing a map would divide the player base further increasing queue times, the charge rifle is fine and weapons have never really been that balanced (the PK is the current big problem).
@MajchiDaFroggoYT
I just don't see it...the people I get paired with vary so wildly in their stats, and my experience in game can be so poor, that if they've implemented it then they're not doing a very good job in doing so.
Someone needs to discuss things with the community IN ADVANCE of changes so that we know what's coming and can point out the potential problems. As it is now is just seems like people are going to get fed up and move on....and when that's apart from the ridiculous pricing structure of the MTX....well that's a bad thing. With Project A on the horizon and C

@SunlessMeridianHis changes would make the game way more enjoyable and popular we desperately need solos and duos permanent for apex i think there only not adding them because they dont have any other ideas for limited time modes atleast for the present time the only one I disagree with is allowing for 2 maps theres not enough people for that really there isnt enough for solos/duos either but I feel like if they would just bring them permanently the player base would expand allowing for faster matchmaking and more available modes and the charge rifle is fine the way it is no different then having to worry about a kraber or other snipers

If you're going to attempt to insult me than you're more than welcome to check my profile on Apex Tracker....it's not up to date because i've hidden most of my stats on my banners but it's relatively representative and i'd wager that i've played the game for more than adequate an amount of time to make judgements...additionally can you quote me where I said nobody would enjoy solos or duos? Because you're jumping to nonsensical conclusions. Apex is a team game...Solos isn't balanced properly and Duos is a poor halfway house. Plus dividing the player base is a bad idea...rotating the maps would be fine, choice would not be. Apex players are already dropping off and having to wait 10 minutes for a game (i'm already waiting one to two on London servers). And the Charge Rifle is fine...albeit annoying.
@FaIIenAngeI777as I've said above, i believe Apex is built around team dynamics. Solos is a fun diversion but if that's what you want play a different game...adding Solos permanently would be unlikely to increase the amount of people playing and would be very likely to slow down the queues for everyone. The best thing to do would be to add custom servers.

@SunlessMeridianThe Team Aspect is Ok but usually not enjoyable imo however when the team leaves it is really enjoyable to do your own thing but not always as 1 vs 3, if it was 1 vs 1 it would be way better Iron Crown Event was the Best thing thats happened since Apex Legends Started... I remember still being able to play regular queue back then when Solo was out because I had to still do regular queue for certain dailys like octanes jump pad used by squadmates or lifelines care packaged looted by squadmates
The main reason we need solo mode is to practice our own skills, i started mid-late season 1 ish and was pretty trash but after the Iron Crown Event and fighting by myself for 2 weeks when I finally went back to the team aspect I was actually able to help my team and was killing people, but overtime i just went back to my old ways then i went on vacation for weeks and had to go out of state again for a funeral and not playing for along time i lost my skills even more and the shadowfall event didn’t help me at all it just made things worse because you were punished for fighting, you kill someone then skydiving zombies would beat the hell out of you so was forced to mainly camp near the dropship and i pretty much quit apex a few weeks because of shadowfall the last 2 days ive finally started enjoying apex again but need that solo time to practice the firing range is ok for aiming but not practicing to fight in close range scenarios aka face to face also many people quit or were turned away from the start because apex didnt have solos/duos so either left or never gave apex a chance because of it

@FaIIenAngeI777I understand the point you're making but that's not what the core point of Apex is all about....it's like asking for there to be a puzzle dynamic added to the fights. If you're making a team based shooter that's what it is. For all those people who want solo BR's there are plenty of them out there. And for all those who want a solo game in Apex's inimitable style then there's Titanfall 2 which could give you something similar.
Improving your game will take much longer in solo mode as opposed to an aim trainer (like Kovaak's) and just playing.
