Ummm....if you don’t want to play with players because they speak English then you have an issue and it’s called prejudice

30-60 minutes could be really excessive. Progressive punishment is a better idea, in my opinion; perhaps 5 minutes the first few games they leave that week or possibly even month, scaling to up to an hour for a ridiculous number of offenses. We need people to reflect on their behavior rather than slap a punishment on them, excessive punishment will only make them feel like a victim for behaving poorly. Next update is thought to have a barebones system for punishing people who disconnect, but I'm not certain how fair and accurate it will be.

I genuinely couldnt believe what I was reading! I mean seriously?

You're making it seems as if you don't get mad when you are matched with and die because of bad players.
You're like the fat people who complained to McDonald's because you think their food made you fat. So what did they do? They added in SALADS, and guess what, people are still fat hahaha.
So basically even if they implemented punishments, people would still just leave. Just as people are still fat from eating McDonald's.
I would ALSO leave a match, not immediately but as soon as I realize that I am not having fun, So in a way, as you have said, WHY should a person have to suffer and not HAVE FUN because of bad teammates OR there is an OBVIOUS hacker in the said match?
OR when you are a high-level player and gets matched with new players, and they sarcastically asks you to carry because they don't plan on doing anything? Sure there are new players who try to learn the game IF they can see that you know what you are doing and by doing so you can actually have a decent game.
But then again, NOT everyone is worth sticking around for.
Roads goes both ways mate.
So the solution is, get good or don't * about it?
As a level 100+ player with 80+ wins this season, I barely had anyone leaving my game unless their spawn timed out. AND the only TIME I leave is when after I have given tips and Instructions to "new" players to perform better during an intense fight, they literally froze and do nothing or just die in the worst way possible.
So you tell me how to have fun when you are expected to carry and perform well enough to make up for the others lack of skills and communication?
If you leave a Game because you KNOW you are not going to have FUN or WIN, then I think it is fine to do so, but not because you DID NOT get YOUR pick, that is wrong.
Even so, how does that changes the FUN for the others that are left? Do they expect to win? It's not like there's a sudden miracle that makes them perform better.
When I was a new player of this game, the same * happened to me, because higher leveled players WOULD NOT tolerate people with no skills.
So I HAD to learn the game and what I am good at, and guess what? people stopped leaving when the can see that you might actually be able to carry your own weight?
Basically, expect to be left by yourself for a few games and use that to learn the game and get good.
When you get to a point that maybe one of out 20 games, YOU get CARRIED, then you might understand that you can win this game SOLO in squads mode, because I have, more than once.

Definitely it is a good idea ... just 5-10 minutes cooldown to join next game in case player leaves before his resurrection timer runs out. This would do the trick.
I have read several posts against this idea, although I see their point too, there is nothing more demotivating than spending multiple rounds in a row with idiots who jump to suicide, barely do any damage and then disconnect immediately after being killed. If those were only people with little experience and no brain for team play, I would expect that kind of behavior and did not mind them leaving... but if you see this kind of behavior even with players whos profile suggest they can do some damage ... then * especially them. You ruin the game to others, forcing them to jump right beneath the drop ship and then (usually after being killed in first 20 seconds) disconnect, even without waiting few seconds for your teammates to finish the fight and ress you?
This kind of behavior should be punished ... no matter the reasons. If you need to pick up the call or answer the door or whatever ... 5-10 min CD wont make any harm to you anyway ... but if you abuse the system, just to disconect after not getting kills you wanted in a time you wanted, only to join the game next few seconds and do the whole thing again, then you should pay the price.

It is not going to kill the game.
I don't have to deal with players whom solo drop.
- this type is usually that kind of player who disconnects right after being killed away from his squad ... so having them punished would actually made you happy.
I don't have to deal with players whom scream in voice chat.
- That could be easily fixed if devs implemented some quick mute or just by disabling voice
I don't have to deal with players whom troll in game.
-wow, poor you, how sensitive person you must be ... seriously, trolling in this game? how?
I don't have to deal with players whom don't play as a team.
-behaving like a douchebag, not giving your team a chance to ress you ... well, seems to me you gotta have hard times to be with yourself. Honestly, if you expect others to play as a team, you should too ... the world does not revolve around you, you know.
I don't have to deal with players whom are not good.
-everyone has to learn, and it would be actually nice of you if you help others over voice chat rather than acting like a spoled brat that you probably are.

This is not a solution!
A friend could have a crash and now he's punished and the entire squad need to wait???
What about if someone rage quiet?? You are not allowed to have your own character and be upset when you think you should be??
What about when your teammates are simply noobs who can't hold their own and the moment any fight start they run away and leave you even when you down two of the enemies and almost kill the last one and ping for them to attack and they wouldn't??? Why in h*ll do I have to stay in such a frustrating game with such frustrating teammates??
Why is it that if my teammates are campers and I play aggressive I have to watch them camping the game out when knocked and eliminated??
As soon I'm alive I will try to give it my all as with or without teammates it can be won but if my teammates prefer to abandon and camp or just be toxic the entire game and troll, why do I have to stay?
This is just insane it is not a solution I get the problem but this is not how you fix it!

I love how you get these idiot sadists on these forums making stupid suggestions like ban people and punish them for leaving instead of looking at the obvious flaws in this game that make people behave like that.
