There are a lot of game-breaking issues with the weapon-balance and yes I do understand that this is a BR title, but in the end of the day a game's success is always based on the drive players have to play and the enjoyment factor...The drive in Apex (in my opinion) is the stats and rank system which in a whole gives people the ability to show off their skills and abilities in fps games -an idea I brought forward in CoD to developers- but a concept that would require vigorous anti-cheat and fair stats/gameplay mechanics.
What the guys did with Apex was a very good attempt at this but now the ironing stage is being slightly ignored and this is when annoying balance issues start emerging which if not fixed can cause the collapse of a whole game especially when another game starts challenging and actually integrating a better balance system alongside great game mechanics.
CoD-Warzone can be seen as a worthy competitor but unfortunately CoD is too well known for not listening to player demands/requests and not fixing issues so it will always be seen as a short-lived title which does not bode well for any BR title.
Apex is now going down the same route and the problematic balance issues alongside bad loot mechanics are in effect deteriorating the game slowly but certainly, in the same way that the highlight of Fortnite (the building) will also ultimately cause it's demise as no game mode/mechanic is introduced in Fortnite to exclude building, so eventually too many people are going to be too good at building to beat leaving no point for new players to attempt to challenge them and the demise of Fortnite, as decent a game it might be.
Apex sits with the problem of relying on the concept of stats and bragging rights driving the players to play, but unbalanced mechanics and loot will eventually start annoying hardcore players to a point where they ask themselves why are they spending this much time on a game when a game keeps wasting their time via bad balancing issues and loot placement/distribution? Both issues very easily fixed but if no attempt is made to correct these issues Apex will unfortunately become too annoying and somewhere along the line a more rewarding game will arise and that will be the end of Apex :-(
Apex relies on giving the players what they want as that is the drive and when an Apex Predator can drop and be completely outgunned by a 'noob' plainly due to luck of gun pickups at the start the loot/gun balance mechanic is flawed severely!
IF YOU CAN KILL A PREDATOR AND FEEL NO PRIDE IN YOURSELF FOR KILLING HIM/HER BECAUSE HE HAD A P2020 AT THE START WITH NO ARMOR (due to bad loot distribution) AND YOU WERE PURELY LUCKY AND LANDED ON A PURPLE ARMOR AND R99 NEXT TO A PEACEKEEPER THAT IS WRONG SORRY. It's like Achilles being taken out by Paris in Troy... the feeling is a downer rather than uplifting because you've achieved nothing other than be lucky when a Predator (hero of Apex) was back-stabbed by the very entity (The developer) that should embrace and appreciate the driving force he/she brings to the game and players.
A game becomes great or it becomes a faint memory in a blink of an eye...Apex needs to decide which direction it is going to go because I would love to see Apex become the greatest of all time! But for some reason I detect problems in the crew behind it's design :-( Minor but severe

I understand what you are trying to say/saying but let me make what I state more basic:
This is not 'really' about the Predator vs. noob it's about balance and I don't care what type of game this is balance is essential/critical to any game whether it's PacMan or Apex Legends! You can't go about making excuses for poor strategic decisions by saying 'it's a Battle Royale'...What exactly is a Battle Royale??? What are the criteria/set rules of 'Battle Royale'??? Yes you get dropped in and you have to fight to survive or well...perish...But this is a game and in 'real life' the concept of 'Battle Royale' will be very much determined on the person and not necessarily on equipment due to state of mind or strong mindedness to kill/survive vs experience in the field of combat and determination to persevere...
This however is a game and the physical/real-life aspects of you sitting there playing being a Predator or noob has zero resemblance to how you would fare in a REAL LIFE BATTLE ROYALE scenario so that's where the problem comes in with creating a game like this and people suddenly being professionals in the field of game genre pre-requisites...Battle Royale is what exactly??? Why can or can't you do certain things in a Battle Royale??? Who thought up these rules??? WHAT MATTERS IS WHAT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If everything about Apex is 'perfect' then can I ask you a very simple question???
Can a game be released that would be better than Apex in enough ways to make Apex obsolete and 'inferior' to that game??? What would that game do/contain to make it better than Apex???
What would Apex have to change to make it so good that it goes 'unchallenged'??? What is Apex doing wrong at the current moment/state???
Now after answering the above questions please come back to me with simple responses like:
------"I've once beaten a noob Bloodhound who had an R-99, while I was at about half health and had an alternator" NOTE you said ONCE...... NOTE an alternator is NOT a P2020 ...... NOTE is was obviously such a rare occurrence to you that you obviously find this 'event' very special :-)
------"I'm sure many would like a completely balanced deathmatch version of Apex, but that just isn't what Apex is. Apex is a battle royale." NOTE what exactly is a Battle Royale??? Who set the criteria??? NOTE "I'm sure many would like a completely balanced deathmatch version of Apex"...So I'm playing this game running around in a storage facilty and I start panicking as I hear footsteps approaching so I take refuge behind a storage crate...I quietly sit in wait, embraced by a slight panicky sweat when I suddenly leap around the corner and open fire downing 2 attackers...IS THIS IN A DEATHMATCH GAME OR A BATTLE ROYALE??? And you can probably guess that I have an answer for whatever reply you give :-p
Statements like : It's ok for a Battle Royale to be unbalance because it's a Battle Royale is ....... well ....... WHAT??? SERIOUSLY??? IS APEX COMPLETELY WELL BALANCED? Are there aspects of Apex that need to be balanced??? OR slightly bettered???
THEN WHY ARE YOU MAKING THE STATEMENTS YOU ARE MAKING AFTER READING THE ABOVE??? Or feel free to explain your point in a better way THAN: If you don't like the Battle Royale genre go play CS:GO

Make no mistake whatsoever I love Apex and I would love to see it become the greatest game of all time as it has great aspects, but it needs to take action on quite a few issues making it just well...... unbalanced and unfair..... and ultimately not as much fun/rewarding as it could be.
Almost everyone ultimately aims to get the 6 or 7 favorite guns.... These give you an advantage over even the tier 2 guns hence the reason of their popularity..... AND I get this as it's a Battle Royale but where does the P2020 and Mozambique fit in this picture??? And why are they EVERYWHERE!!!!!!????? The P2020 and Mozambique being scattered all over the map ultimately (in loot distribution terms) means a LOT less of the loot that actually mean something... And yes I also get that it seems like there's a lot of them about because no one picks them up but what point/purpose do they serve???
Is Gibraltar's size/hitbox disadvantage vs Wraith really fair in any way??? Can you picture this scenario and honestly tell me which one of the 2 Characters would win the most in 100 x 1v1 fights if they were EXACTLY the same size??? Not mentioning a Wraith punch-fighting Gibraltar as is Imagine that in real life Then we get back to the point where you say it's a game not real life so it doesn't matter then the obvious response for numerous reasons but the most obvious being : It does because of people's perception of actual reality vs the point (as a whole) in creating characters (of various sizes) and abilities in a game played by well.... REAL people.... assumably 100% ??? obviously excluding the occasional implementation of 'assistive' AI aiming :-p
What on earth is the point with Bloodhound wearing a full blown gas mask yet come Caustic... Yes it's aesthetics but WHAT??? And WHY has Bloodhound not got some form of resistance at least???
Why can Johhny be Wraith who- 99% of the time- gets her * in a tight spot (and then puts the whole team at risk) and then bails and leaves everyone else in a bad predicament, using the time it takes for her team mates to get downed to heal, then pops back in and takes the glory via dishing out the final blows and thinking she's the hero?????????????????? In a game where her achievements -in the game- does not benefit you enough -other than maybe a win- to warrant her action??????????? Remembering 99% of the time people play with strangers, so where exactly does a character fit in that uses her teammates as bait/distractions/occupiers???????? Teamplay they say??????
I can go on but to be honest I know what I say would go unnoticed anyway so who's the idiot in thinking I can try and help make a perfect game

Thanks for that reply I find it difficult to get my point through sometimes :-P
What you state is so true and disturbingly real in Apex that one side of a hotzone like Skull town will have nothing of 'decency' when it relates to a gunfight ie: attachments everywhere but no 'decent' guns (not a mozambique or P2020) and the other side bashes out great armors and pk's and R99 which one side of the argument would say : It's the luck of the draw, but the other side would agree that fair and logical distribution of loot does not involve the above whereas if it was a real -life situation and the above happened match-fixing investigations will definitely be on the boards!
I understand that it is completely random but it is too unbalanced and hence points to a fault in the main loot distribution mechanic of the game!
It's like 2 teams playing a game of football and the one team's goal net is half the size of the others? But play goes on and it is seen as fair?????? Some things are ok to be left to chance, I get it, but some things should be fairly balanced as the ratio/chances of successfully (even) engaging in a gun fight slumps dramatically when the presence of only one gun in a 1v1 is the case??? And no I don't class the P2020 and Mozambique as guns they are annoying pests and need to be made extinct!!!!!!!!!
At the end of the day the true concept of gaming basically is this:
WE PLAY GAMES BECAUSE WE ENJOY THEM!!!??? GIVE GAMERS WHAT THEY WANT AND GAMERS WILL LOVE YOU FOR IT...... SIMPLE!!!
And as complex as that statement might be to practice, it boils down to playability, satisfaction and enjoyment.
If a game is difficult but fair it is ok to fail as that is the drive...to do better. It also then carries a ton of satisfaction winning moreso as long as the mechanics don't interfere/minipulate the playability and overall outcome to the extent that success ratios are vastly increased merely by luck...And winning a (same health) 1v1 against a peacekeeper in a small room tapping a P2020 (standard as usual is nothing but lucky...Whichever way you look at it (and yes that includes the pk wielder being a noob...you were then well...lucky :-p This statement obviously has more grounds in ranked where higher tiers consist of...well no noobs, yet the weapon battle mentioned above still takes place due -to nothing but- poor loot mechanics :-p
