The game had a great start but the fun I have with the game (and this applies to a lot of my friends and clanmates as well) is starting to lessen and lessen. It's been almost 2 months since release and a lot of significant issues are still not fixed nor do we have any words from the devs regarding what a lot of people are asking for or if any of the issues are about to be fixed.
2 months (almost) after game's release we still have issues like:
-disconnecting/crashing and no way to reconnect to our friends after a crash/connection lost (happens multiple times a day with my friend and he has a monster PC so it's not on his end)
-servers that can be EXTREMELY laggy at times with ridiculous rubberbanding and stuttering or slowmos. (happens EVERY SINGLE DAY)
-strong meta HEAVILY favoring small legends (caustic and gib are still in an extremely bad position where they should be a lot tankier than smaller and faster legends but just aren't - your balancing team sucks btw Respawn)
-broken and boring weapon meta where long range weapons (G7 scout, longbow and triple take) are meh and very situational and overshadowed by the wingman which is not only a BETTER sniper (higher mobility while ADSing + faster RoF + better DPS + ridiculously broken high headshot damage which shouldn't be a thing for this weapon), but is still extremely powerful at close range as well unlike the 3 previously mentioned weapons. The meta is still all about the wingman, PK, spitfire, R301 and R99.
-hit reg and netcode are the worse of any triple A online FPS title (just search on youtube for "battlenonsense")
-lack of a proper Skill-based matchmaking (ppl with responsabilities and jobs should NEVER be stuck playing against sweaty TTVs or nolifers)
-ridiculous prices for cosmetics when they are featured and purchasable and how stupid it is that, otherwise, the cosmetics are "locked" behind lootboxes/gambling instead of being directly purchasable.
So we, players, are just here wondering WTF is being done. In 2 months, there's barely any noticable improvements. Respawn needs to communicate with it's playerbase if they want any chance of knowing what needs to be done/changed/improved and if they want us players to not grow restless and frustrated by their, seemingly at least, lack of SIGNIFICANT work and improvements being done. I don't want this game to become bf5 releasing too little too late.
A customer finding the game less and less enjoyable,
Vin

I wish they would increase the number of apex packs you get after level 100 and also increase the amount of crafting materials you can get or at least give us some way to get them.

I wonder if we ever get this game beyond season 4. Poularety is dropping fast. If this trend isnt stopping any soon Apex will be vanished till christmas.
The focus on ugly cosmetics rather than fixing problems and adding some improvements is like a death sentence to this really good game.

@TSF_VindictiVI agree with all your points except the skill-based matchmaking (there is a lot of RNG in the game to determine what skill is, depends on teamates, weapons found, attachments of said weapons, input lag, strategic thought, decision making solo and in team - in other words too many variables to happen effectively) and the wingman rant (the weapon was nerfed to the ground, the only people that still effectively use it are mostly cheaters.).
Imo they are too busy trying to make money right now to care about improving the game. They obviously did not make bank with the Season pass (it was * and it was poorly received across all platforms), so now they are pushing out cosmetics in order to make money to continue developing the game. I firmly believe that they do not have enough money to battle the server problems and the cheating problems and it is starting to show in how the game does in terms of viewership on twitch and content created for the game on YT etc.
There is noone else to blame but themselves. They said it anyways, that EA did not pressure them at all in any of the decisions made... So basically they made poor decisions. Instead of learnign from the mistakes of previous BR games they just repeated all their mistakes 1 for 1. Fortnite released a super grindy Season 1 battle pass which had little to no content, they did the same mistake. PUBG ignored the cheating epidemic and refused to region lock China and Russia and lost most of the players in the first 6 months and never trully recovered from it. They are doing the exact same mistake now. RoE (Ring of Elysium) did not improve server quality and availability in EU and lost 70% of the playerbase in less than a year. They are doing it right now.
It's as if they want to make all the mistakes other titles made before and they want to fail... It is really sad to experience and to watch. I mean they should try to avoid being like OW where they pumped a ton of content in the begging to try a forcibly create a competitive scene and then failed the community on every other aspect of the game and ended up now pumping out 0 content (apart from characters) and the game being dead. Content is not the right answer when you have a TON of other issues. Fix the * game first and then focus 100% on pumping out content, but content that catters to 99% of the playerbase and not the tryhards that can play the game for 15 hours a day. Not all content needs to be a grind fest. Explore alternatives or a different pacing and learn from the mistakes made from other titles.

@Karsot I agree with the rest, but my personal problem with wingman is how it overshadows medium to long range weapons (G7 scout, longbow, tripletake and hemlock). It's just better.
My personnal pet peeves with the game, which are really turning me off from playing, are :
*how really laggy servers are at times (when you see on the ring countdown that 1 ingame second takes litterally 3 IRL seconds, you know something is EXTREMELY broken),
*the netcode (I'm sooooo tired of shooting at laggers and not getting any hitmarkers or when we get shot around corners by laggers or when you punch somebody but it's completely ignored, just watch how my arc star that struck her arm does no damage and how all my punches but one miss https://drive.google.com/open?id=11LMxEff8qBLNO1-bzixHuXGfO4-ILK7o )
*how bigger characters are just garbage compared to smaller ones (as a caustic main, the game becomes easy-mode for me if I decide to play say lifeline).
If they were to just fix those 3 things, for me the game would be SUPERB. But 2 months in, and nothing really significant happened.

@TSF_VindictiVI agree. G7 and the rest of the long range weapons need a significant buff. I think a buff in muzzle velocity and bullet velocity (which means less need for leading when aiming) and also a slight increase on their damage modifiers and perhaps ROF.
I also agree 100% with the rest of you post. Bigger characters and especially tanks (do not know if they have planned future releases of big characters that are healers or some other role) need to feel and become tanks. Right now they are just big, slow targets that put both the players playing them and the rest of the squad in a disadvantage.

Wwhen you guys understand they've been interested in just make loads of money at initial game launch and go 5 stars restaurants not givin a sh it about us all?......you dont get it yet?......other than that they also own cheats companies making the double of money, otherwise just think, all gaming companies have would implemented better options to have a clean game and and better resolutions to the game and better damn servers, thats why out there are popular paid streamers too, cheating at your all face's meanwhile you giving them money fro subs and donations, supporting ads etc,one day and when will too late you'll realise it

@Karsot yup playing bigger legends (pathfinder, caustic and gib) is purely suicidal with everybody and their hamsters using PK and wingman.
Also, SMGs are pretty useless in the current meta as they are overshadowed by shotguns in CQC and ARs (and everything else really) at medium and long range. I really enjoy using the prowler for it's look and sound but the only way it's somewhat competitive to use is if it has a fire-mode selector and, even then a lot would agree that the R-99 is simply better because it actually has better DPS. Oh and Flatline may as well not exist.
Finally, even if we forget how wingman beats all sniper rifles in the game, just comparing sniper rifles between each other: G7 scout is a complete JOKE compared to longbow and triple take. If you want to have a fast firing and accurate DMR-like weapon that can put a lot of damage down range before having to reload, just use a hemlock in single-fire mode... hell a havoc with selective-fire mod on will do an incredibly better job as a "sniper rifle".

Yeah they need to add something. After 430 hours I'm getting really tired of playing it.The battlepass was a letdown, I thought they would add ranked or some game changing improvement but nothing yet. New legends/skins don't really excite me.
Grinding out a 100 lvls isn't engaging or progressive, grinding out another 100 lvls of battlepass is just more of the same, not to mention that a lot of the xp rewards are simply from playing the game not from doing anything specifically, no challenges or anything like that, it's just playtime on different legends and it's just not engaging.
I think they said in a post that fixing the lag issues isn't something that just throwing more servers and money at will solve, they need to look deeper into why it's badly optimized I guess.
I think they're holding back a lot of content which is a bit annoying that they don't reveal things, but then again not everything makes it to the live game and that's why they don't communicate much about such things.

@BoaFang7 Exactly. About them saying "throwing more money at it won't fix the issue"... well they are, simply put, extremely stupid. BF titles have had servers that could host 64 players with a LOOOOOOOTTT more things happening (destruction, projectiles, vehicles, etc) since how long ago????? So they could simply see with Dice how to do netcode and fix server issues. Both respawn and dice are EA's property so it's not like it would be asking competition.
