I will be on strike from Apex Legends until you revert your SBMM changes made late in Season 2. Unranked should have never changed in regards to SBMM, it was the bread and butter of this game.
I hope others will follow and /sign this protest, and try to refrain from gametime, until you revert your changes back OR at least acknowledge changes are on the way.
Thanks.

@o-Talzy-oI think the changes are great tbh, however they are not
I love the Idea of it and feel the matches are still challenging but more on my level and I love that
I still feel like its broken and needs fixes aswell though as everyone else is saying they can’t play with their friends anymore or the opponents are too tough for them
For the ones getting too strong of opponents, they should be able to rank down in casual SBMM if they keep losing before lets say the top 10, but for the friends solution im not really sure because if the higher skills players could play with lower skilled player friends on their lower skilled servers then of course the higher skilled players would do that every single game and make SBMM useless
On the contrary currently the lower skilled players are unable to play on the higher skilled servers I think this is the main problem with SBMM, the (friend component) i don’t have any myself, so I love SBMM while everyone else with friends hate SBMM
I believe if these 2 problems were sorted out SBMM would be more accepting because lets face it Normal to above average players need a dividing factor from the absolute best of the best who can wipe any squad that they see and SBMM is that dividing factor that we need, but all of the bugs havn’t been worked out yet and it may take awhile to do so
Also I see alot of top streamers trying to use the defence
‘’they need to see us in their matches to learn from us and get better’’ imo that isn’t the case
Don’t get me wrong I enjoy spectating pro teams from time to time but its not any different than watching a live stream or youtube video after your dead you just watch and learn I usually look for their movements in fights, sneaky locations I didn’t know about and how they use them, or just how they play in general

Today, after experiencing a dozen of so *casual* games all chock full of diamond & apex predators, for the first time *ever* I found myself saying "This isn't fun".
My duo partner agreed. We stopped playing.
By introducing SBMM into casual, they've:
1) Made solo & duo queuing nonviable for good+ players.
The higher up you go, the more important teamwork becomes.
The quality of teamwork with randoms is obviously far inferior to that of pre-made teams.
As SBMM doesn't seem to have any issue queuing pre-made squads, with randoms, solo/duo queuing is now just as suicidal as it is in ranked.
2) Forced everyone to play "try-hard mode" all the time.
Playing "well" is hard; it requires constant thought & concentration. Consequently it's tiring & stressful.
Casual used to be about kicking back, and having some fun playing with sub-optimal legends, and making yolo pushes.
It was obviously never optimal, but it was *fun*.
If I want stressful gameplay, I'll play ranked.
3) Broken friend groups, as mixed-skill pre-mades are no-longer viable.
Not everyone on my friends list plays at the same level; some are better, some are much worse.
If I play with them, they'll get pulled into terribly imbalanced games; we'll lose, they'll achieve very little, and the frustration will lead them to quit.
4) Made it harder for players to come back to the game.
I've just returned from a 2 week Apex hiatus; I'm obviously not playing at the same level that I was.
SBMM is matching me against opponents I don't stand a chance against at my current ability.
I can look past most of the bad Apex decisions Respawn has made over the past few months, but SBMM in casual fundamentally breaks the game for me.
If it isn't reverted, I think I'm properly done with Apex.
