PC player here and I agree on many points with couple exceptions..=)
- Ring damage is great! It is way better than before. You are unable to hang outside the ring and it's no longer a tactic what you can use for advantage.
- Ranked points is not that bad. If you are good player (and if you are lucky to have good friends/good players to play with) you will rise in ranks. That is 100% sure thing. My estimate is that most of the players who solo que will end up on gold/platinum and if you want to go diamond/predator then you definitely need to have premade team and you have to be good player overall.
Why there is so much anger and frustration concerning the rank system? I think it's because players feel they are having greater skills what they actually posses. Sure you are starting to get pissed when you are envisioning for diamond or even predator rank but you are stuck in gold. It is only natural to find problems all around but not in our own skills ( not saying I am any better. Still working on with my mindset).

Then to complaints. Hope this is somewhat constructive.
EA / Respawn should really make something to their servers and network issues. I don't want to even try to rank up when I get like 5/10 games drop ratio and if I try to play with friends then the error rate is even higher. This is also why I don't buy battle pass since I really can't play the game like I would want to. Don't want to spend money on product that does not compute.
Sound issues are also really really bad. I have tried like all the things that I can find from forums and so forth but still I don't get the sounds working properly. Laggin and missing sounds in every single game. If you ask me the sounds are pretty important in this game.

Upgrades / Suggestions
Reconnect feature. even if you drop your banner could be picked up and if you are able to reconnect then you could be revived.
LAN-mode. Would be so nice to play this game with friends in LAN.

Appreciate the honest feedback! Very well written. We know a reconnect feature has been requested since launch due to the connectivity issues, however the team believes their resources are best spent in fixing the server errors (the root cause) which will make a reconnect feature not necessary.
The code:leaf/net/wheel errors are of the highest priority of the team and they are looking for community help on identifying when it happens, specific network details, and other info. It's been mentioned in the Dev Tracker and we have our info gathering post below. Thank you for any assistance you can provide which will ultimately help speed up this fix.

2019 and community still have to make 80% of the game ... this world is * sad... this game could have been made with STEAM but n o, it had to be EA...

The sound issues between named zones are extremely bad.
Basically if 1 squad runs from or ziplines from zone A to B or even worse between zones you can't hear them.
Today we stopped playing because of this and its 1 of those things that stack up before you completly stop and move on.

I completely feel you on almost all of these topics. I legit deleted the game after two weeks because of these crashes in lobby after you ready up. I just downloaded it again after 5 months and it’s still happening. The RNG in this game definitely needs balancing because running through 3 buildings and not finding guns is what happens to me all the freaking time. How do they expect people to loot quickly when they’re dropping almost 80% of their inventory in game because they’re all attachments? I have to go back after finding a gun and try to remember exactly where I dropped it all. God forbid if you can find a backpack too. I do lag a little sometimes, but at least a servers closer to me in South Carolina and I don’t have that many problems. I don’t understand how Respawn hasn’t made this game better by fixing these issues that affect the game the most.

@MassiveVernon the third zone shouldn’t hit for 10-15 damage since it’s still relatively big. I just thought it was crazy haven’t played because I quit after the crashing and unbalance issues, but to die from 3rd zone after fighting a team holding us out, and dying from it is crazy.

@MassiveVernonGreat list, and I couldn't agree more with you. I've been playing off and on since release, took a break for quite awhile in the middle, and just came back to it recently... What on earth have they done? It's worse than it was at launch in so many ways!
It's gotten way more stable, so massive props to you guys for managing to track down those issues and get the game stable - I haven't crashed out of a game yet and I've played nearly 300 games since I came back, whereas I was crashing 1/10 games or worse before.
But there are some things that have gotten so horrible I don't know if I want to keep playing. Hitboxes for stuff are horrific, you clip through things, you teleport, you can't climb things you clearly should be able to, you can walk through things you shouldn't. I'm getting shot through closed doors and around corners constantly. At this point I barely even bother going for cover because I get shot through cover, around corners, and after I've closed doors about 80% of the time.
I don't know what on earth you've done to the action system but I'm picking up loot and doors all throughout the building are spamming open and closed like the place is haunted, supply bins through walls are opening like I'm a darn ghost with ten-foot-long arms, and forget trying to revive a teammate near a door, it's not even worth the effort. I can't count the number of times I've died trying to revive a teammate near a door, you go to get them up and the door opens, then closes, then opens, and closes, over and over and over again till you want to scream, all while you're being shot, until eventually they get your downed teammate and you want to cry. Only to realize their box is going through walls and is breaking the door so you're dead. Please for the love of all that is holy, fix the doors. Don't use the door unless I'm looking at the door. If I'm looking at my downed teammate, revive them, don't open the door behind me ten feet away, don't spam the door they're blocking ten times, don't open the supply bin to my right through a wall. Just revive my poor teammate!
The code:net/leaf are error codes they've added to help diagnose a connection bug they're having where the client thinks the server has dropped you, but it hasn't, so they can see when you're ACTUALLY being dropped, and when the system is screwing up and thinking you've been dropped. It takes time to fix silly little things like that, and they're working on it, but yeah, that's annoying and I'm getting it after the end of every other match.
On the note of sound issues, I've seen a ton of people saying they're having issues, but I've never once been snuck up on in the game, I'd actually like it if crouching made you a bit quieter. Anyone within ~100m of me I can hear like they're a marching band stomping on me!

@LittumulkeroI really, really hate the ring damage changes with a passion. I think it needed a change - you shouldn't be able to walk around outside fourth ring freely - but I think it should scale up more instead of just do more period.
I often end up having to run over half the map to get to the ring for the first zone, the first zone shouldn't deal so much damage it's wiping you unless you've got piles of syringes. Unless you're lifeline or have a golden backpack you can only just barely outheal the second zone. Third zone is instant death.
I can't tell you how many times I've been fighting near the edge of the zone to have both my teammates get downed, have me finish the last member of the other squad, then have our squad die because my teammates that have been downed can't heal fast enough to beat the zone and I can't make it the 500m I need to when I'm already down half my hp from the fight.
I don't think you should have to worry SO much about the first and second zone, people are often still getting geared and fights are breaking out, you've got enough to think about without having to ditch your team because the zone's coming and it'll halve your health in seconds.
Yes, you can just leave earlier to run to the next zone, but I don't think you should have to worry so much about whether you can make it to the next zone or not. The zone's purpose is to guide all the players together so people fight until only one squad is left and crowned the champion. The zone's purpose isn't to kill stragglers, or be the final boss, therefore I don't think it should be such a huge worry.
As you pointed out, it doing too little isn't good either, you don't want people to just ignore the zone and walk around free like in s1 - but that could be fixed by scaling the zone's damage up in the later rings, while keeping it lower in the earlier rings. That'd let people fight and loot as needed early on while still making them close in on one area for the late game, as needed and intended.

Yeah, I deleted this game yesterday.
The only way to play this game is to have friends.
It is a well polished game, but the ranked system is too penalizing.
Maybe Respawn should use a select sort algorithm. and make the squad member that score the highest pay no ranked queue fees.
I got tired of having dumb squad members that score no kills and little to no damage, and I had to lose my ranked points because I was teamed with morons.
I lost all of my platinum ranked points and went back to platinum IV.
Every now and then I would get good randoms, and we would win back to back but that is probably 5% of the time.
And LAST!!
The Lifeline Drone of Compassion nerf was unneeded.
I miss that little turtle healing us up in the Storm.... Change it back RESPAWN!!
GIVE THE DRONE OF COMPASSION HIS COMPASSION BACK!!
Nuff Said
